All you need to do for this plugin to work is to load this plugin with TFA-VOX and then pick a compatible player model.
If want to use the radial menu, you'll have to bind it to a key by entering "bind "h" "+tfa_vox_callout_radial" " (without the outer quotes of course) into your console. You can replace the h with any other key, the codes you'll need to enter for the non-alphabetical/numerical keys can be found here.
You can also change some of VOX' Settings by typing "tfa_vox_vgui_open" into the console.
are you using the new version of tfa-vox that was uploaded recently? (i'm sorry that there's no link in the description right now, i'm gonna have to update all of my plugins to link to the new version)
Also, loose addons will always be loaded and will override workshop addons. Keep that in mind, because once I update this, you're gonna have to remove that unpacked addon from your addons folder.
Oh yeah, and this should be obvious, but please don't upload that edited version to the workshop or any other major gmod addon site. Sharing it amongst your friends is fine.
For the rest, I've made this shitty ms paint tutorial that you can follow: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/511197244301770774/717459044348199002/unknown.png
I know that using discord as an image host is unprofessional, but this is just a temporary thing so it should be fine.
You don't even have to restart your gmod everytime you make edits, just save the file and type "tfa_vox_pack_reload" into the console.
Here's the temporary solution:
(I can't guarrantee that the first part of this tutorial will work, gmod recently changed the way workshop addons are stored and i'm not entirely sure if this is the correct way to do things)
Find the gma for this addon in (wherever your Steam folder is Steam/steamapps/common/Garrysmod/garrysmod/addons/vox_voicelines_for_jacket_837130964.gma , the exact name might be different)
Open up a second explorer window and go to Steam/steamapps/common/Garrysmod/bin . There should be an executable there called "gmad.exe" .
Drag the .gma onto gmad.exe .
It should now be unpacked in your addons folder.
which button?
I've found out the trouble... It was "Enhanced Camera" addon that was causing that. I've just unsubscribed from it and sub to Gmod Legs and it's okay now! :)
