something is broken in this mod, sorry. I will post here if I get around to fixing it. Some update broke it (I think Repentance but I'm not sure 100%)

For me, loading the game with this mod enabled causes the game to crash.

@atomoton One neat suggestion I think that would give this transformation it's own little unique touch rather than just being a luck up is the chance to shoot random dice tears ranging from the D1 to the D100, (since the D-Infinity is just every other dice that one doesn't count) And if you hit something with the dice tear, the dice effect will trigger based on what dice the tear was. Doesn't have to be implemented but rather just something to make it unique.

C.D 12 should randomize all rocks,pots and other,into one type of rocks,pots and other thats in the room

So if theres a marked rock and use the C.D 12 it could turn all rocks,pots and other into the marked rocks.

Thats a idea though....

A couple questions.

1. Does the dungeon master transformation occur when picking up other die-related items?
2. No transformation splash text?

wait so can you choose whether you have the d4 or the cracked d4 on the lost or do you just get the d4?

Neat mod! My only problems with it are the apparrent possibility of breakfasting quicker with the Cracked D6, and the Cracked D7 doing horribly broken things in the Chest. Like, "Everything in the room, including friendly enemies from the Josuke mod and a Rag Man, inexplicably becomes a white Champion, making the room inescapable" horribly broken. You... might just want to look into that.

cracked d4 doesn't reroll modded items. Is it possible to fix?

Hmm, you mean you'd like a cracked D-infinity?

I did some thinking about this, and I'm not sure I'd be able to modify the existing D-infinity to include the cracked dice. I do think I could make a cracked D-infinity that would only rotate the cracked dice.

Let me know, I just finished up another project and could at least spend some time on it. I'm busy with graduating and looking for jobs but I do really enjoy this stuff.

Thanks for your interest and comments, it really does mean a lot. I'm glad you still like the mod, I really had a ton of fun making it. (and I still love to encounter the dice when I play lol)

you're probably all done worrying about this mod (which is still one of my favorites after the first few months) but would it be possible to get the cracked dice to show up with the D-infinity?

i tried the mod and i like it
but the cracked d7 is too good imo
got all items form the game on the first floor
i had sackhead and resettet rooms with many enemys until i got way too much batteries and then resettet the bossroom non stop

I think it'd be in theme if the DM could see the enemies' HP, like the effect of spider mod. Maybe reskin spider mod and call it the DM's familiar?

Thanks for the heads up. I've reverted to using PillEffects with the Cracked D8 for now, until I can get it working the way I want.

It shouldn't be interfering with other items anymore! (Oops)

Noticed a bug with this. When this mod is active, tears are always set to 10 no matter what. For example, if you pick Keeper with this mod active he will shoot much faster than he should.

I was playing around with the mod and found that graphical effects like trinity shield and tech laser stay around despite a reroll being applied to those items - same goes for the items from my mod. See here: Gyazo Link [gyazo.com]

Mostly I just used the documentation, and guesswork, to figure out what was going on. I also got some help from reddit at /r/themoddingofisaac, and their discord chat.

I already do a lot of programming professionally, so in that regard, mostly I was just learning Lua formatting and the crazy "unique" aspects of the BOI API.

I suspect a lot of tutorials will be simplified in the coming months, as the API and the documentation improves. It's really really rough right now.
