This was the first playable modded Civilization I played.
Still seems so fresh, enjoyable and fun to play over the years.
Also, seems like created by Firaxis itself.

@JFD I would like to Mention that the Deaths Head Hussars were Not Prussian in Origin, least the ones Shown.

Those are the Black Brunswickers, from Brunswick, whom Were under the Black Duke until his Death in Battle, but DID serve under the British in Waterloo.

Just saying this because it's Too Commonly associated with Prussia, when it Didn't come from there

If anybody is having an issue with the Hussar not attacking in Vox Populi, it's because VP makes the cavalry a ranged unit, and this mod does not adjust for it. My lazy workaround was to go into the Prussia_GameDefines.sql file in the mod's folder, and change all references in that file that say CAVALRY to say LANCER instead. This makes things work properly - only that now the Hussar will be a lancer replacement (and use it's base stats. But hey, you get em earlier.)

I have trouble getting the Events and Decisions mod to work with this civ and a few others. Your civs are some of my favorites to play. I also really would enjoy trying out some of the E&Ds that. Any help would be great!

wait- figured it out. in the PrussiaFredrickII_ModSupport.sql, the file says that the deaths head hussar is replacing the cuirassier, not the cavalry. I updated those fields and BOOM there it is

Monte and Shaka are stronger. Unique and very useful units/abilities. I produce many jaguar warriors. Then I produce no more infantry! Shaka: I produce infantry as long as I can use the special skills of Ikanda. F.e. going 3 instead of 2 fields is very, very use- and powerful.

I am having a blast with this mod! I was used to Russia and Egypt (the original ones), but Prussia kicks ass!
I am able to control world politics so much that even before my unique units kick in I have the best economy, tech, wonders, army, influence. Now with my uus online I can probably declare war on everyone and win.

Thank you for the mod! (I am sort of fan of Prussia and I love to see it in games)

Great mod, but I've noticed whenever I upgrade one of the unique units, it doesn't keep it's unique promotions.

This mod is working for me, but I do not use "Civ IV Leader Traits". However, I used to be able to play this in YNAEMP v24 on any of the three European maps. Since the update, it now only works on one. Any ideas out there on why?

This muskets dude is complaining that the military units are not accurate to the time friederich ruled. Meanwhile the vanilla game has george washington rulling america with a ww2 bomber as a special unit...

Friederich died in 1786, the 'Landwehr were invented in 1813'... The militia was something Friederich used for defence only. They should be replaced with regular Frederickian infantry.

A quick google search would tell you that the Death's Head should be replaced with the Gardes du Corps.

Why do you only give him military bonuses? Did you know that he spent two thirds of his time on the throne at peace? Give us cultural and science bonuses already. If you want the military stuff pick Friedrich Wilhelm I.

Don't do what Firaxis Games does and spend two seconds on a wiki page to create their civs. The bonuses of the civ you make should reflect who their leader is, not just random bullshit from that civilizations history.

I absolutely love this. You pay so much attention to historical detail in the units you add, the bonus he gets, even the little blurb you wrote for him. As someone who's studied Prussian history for more than they're proud to admit, this all means a lot. Also, it's a killer mod and my fave civ in game. Great work!

It should be noted, that the Unique unit, the Death's Head Hussar, does not actually have an attack.

Prussia's UA doesn't seem to work on my PC. I usually have a boatload of mods so I checked if it worked without any other mods enabled and it still doesn't work. Do you know how to fix this?

There currently is a problem with the Cultural Diversity Mod. I checked the files and Prussia is no longer present, meaning it will make the units converse in English and no special events being available for Prussia. Could you look into it please?
And perhaps you could change the Königgratzer Marsch to something more relevant of the unique ability, perhaps Kriegsakademie (War Academy in German)?
Other than that, this is probably my favourite modded civ of them all!
