Novum33 20 Oct, 2018 @ 3:05pm
more than 4
Novum33 23 Jun, 2018 @ 5:26pm
can you make many different stars?
Quarior  [author] 10 May, 2018 @ 1:35pm
Done. But I don't know why, textures emission don't work...
Quarior  [author] 30 Mar, 2018 @ 11:44am
Or you can change the gravity directly in the world, I put the direction of what file you need to change.
The Neutron Star is a copy of star where I change just the gravity.
mitchellmckain 30 Mar, 2018 @ 12:16am
Neutron stars are about the size of a city and they cannot be any bigger for then they would collapse under their own gravity. The allowed mass range for neutron stars is pretty narrow. Less mass and you have a white dwarf which is about the size of the earth with the mass of the sun -- pretty dense already and taking a long time to cool down. Any more mass and the neutron star collapses into a black hole.

Of course, it is hard to make these realistic in SE because the size variations are so great.

I want to mod a character
Quarior  [author] 4 Feb, 2018 @ 7:49am
I update some mods because the clouds doesn't work.
Brian Stormborn 4 Feb, 2018 @ 7:01am
Do you mod?
Brian Stormborn 4 Feb, 2018 @ 7:01am
Thanks
Quarior  [author] 4 Feb, 2018 @ 6:58am
Ah, you can't use for generate power in this moment. Maybe Keen have planed real stars for recharge battery and for emit real light.
And the size, is you your choose but if you want to put a star big, see themod Procedural World or download a old version of Dedicaced Server and edit the Scenarios.sbx to put a big star. I no recommanded to put a big neutron star because there are a big range of gravity...
Brian Stormborn 4 Feb, 2018 @ 6:53am
So it’s big. I want to put a star in a artificial planet and use as a power source.
Quarior  [author] 4 Feb, 2018 @ 4:41am
You can died if you are in the atmosphere of the stars.
Greyson XMG 3 Feb, 2018 @ 7:10pm
Might make a good white dwarf.
Molten Carnage 26 Jan, 2018 @ 3:07pm
Neutron stars typically are smaller than Earth (4600 km diameter) with far reaching insane gravity; some even becoming Magnatars. As for this mod? Can't say.
Brian Stormborn 29 Oct, 2017 @ 6:06pm
Is it big or small? And do you get burned if yo close
Novum33 5 Aug, 2017 @ 10:00am
i cant do that i cant do very complex things
Quarior  [author] 5 Aug, 2017 @ 2:13am
@Jacof33, what problem what gravity range ? By default, I set GravityFalloff to 2 (realist), if you want to have the default gravity range (7), search <GravityFalloff> in your SANDBOX_0_0_0.sbs in your world folder and Gravity for edit the gravity of stars.
And warning, by default, the neutron star have a big gravity !
Novum33 3 Aug, 2017 @ 5:35pm
shrink downthe gravity range please if you didnt
CrimsonJupiter 18 Jul, 2017 @ 2:14pm
These look really nice right now, but domthey create light? I see your statement about them not creating light but I was wondering if thats old.
Quarior  [author] 14 Jul, 2017 @ 3:21am
I try to fix but don't change :( If somebody can help for fix, thanks in advance.
WarDragon 13 Jul, 2017 @ 10:22am
@Quarior Windows 8.1Pro Amd Radeon R9 200Series
Quarior  [author] 13 Jul, 2017 @ 9:40am
So I fix if work later. Else, what system do you made ?
WarDragon 13 Jul, 2017 @ 9:10am
@Ouarior I dont know but it is still there
Quarior  [author] 13 Jul, 2017 @ 7:43am
@WarDragon : Sorry for late for aswer. Strange because I save files for materials correctly, a bug maybe ?
Quarior  [author] 23 Jan, 2017 @ 9:01am
Doctor Octoganapus : Lol. I create a new world and it's work. I don't know then why doesn't work in the old world. Thanks.
Doctor Octoganapus 23 Jan, 2017 @ 8:23am
@Quarior I made no changes: http://i.imgur.com/2GmfnTW.png
Doctor Octoganapus 23 Jan, 2017 @ 8:18am
@Quarior Your mod is working 100% fine on its own...... Its not broken. Though you need to work on code organization has your planet and voxel files are a mess.
Quarior  [author] 23 Jan, 2017 @ 8:02am
Doctor Octoganapus : Yes is purple but I tried in my local mod and texture are black and haven't error. If you can help me, I share my mods folder local [drive.google.com] and if you found the problem, thank to share files and method because I think textures are correct.
You have say in reddit my method is correct so I don't see the problem.
I test to add a alpha channel black but nothing to do.
I also look at your script for Urna voxels that you have advised, I have exactly the same "tags" as UrnaIce (<MaterialTypeName>, <SpawnsInAsteroids>,...).
Thanks for help.
Doctor Octoganapus 23 Jan, 2017 @ 7:29am
@Quarior Custom Voxels work just fine - the reason many mods have purple textures is because those mods are not up to date with the current render restrictions.
aarno5 17 Jan, 2017 @ 8:32am
okay
Quarior  [author] 17 Jan, 2017 @ 1:29am
aarno5, yes.
aarno5 16 Jan, 2017 @ 3:47pm
so this is the neutron star then?
Quarior  [author] 16 Jan, 2017 @ 2:04am
[KOR]dldmltls1, why water planet make damage for ships ?
And planets haven't custom texture because custom voxels are purple, I don't know why.
Yes, texture for voxels are 2048x2048 when I test in local but nothing to do.
But if you make a world just with this planet and no asteroids, it's work...

aarno5, yes, the mod have neutron star, it is in the mod "Solid Neutron Star", do you read the description ? "Solid Neutron Star : Neutron star with a gravity by default of 224340000000 g !" The Atmosphere damage is most important than the damage on a the "Solid Star".
[KOR]dldmltls1 15 Jan, 2017 @ 9:37pm
maybe change this mode set

heavy level atmosphere drag + damage + very dark blue air = water planet
aarno5 15 Jan, 2017 @ 12:46pm
neutron star?
Quarior  [author] 15 Jan, 2017 @ 3:46am
Of course you can place them when and where you want but I advise you to place the stars first, especially by the neutron star which has a strong gravity by default.
aarno5 14 Jan, 2017 @ 11:47am
does this allow me to make different solar systems?
Greyson XMG 9 Jan, 2017 @ 7:00pm
I have been attempting to find a way to convince Rexxar to create a mod that allows damage effects to be added to planets. So far, I have not even got his attnetion. (busy guy)

heat effects to hot worlds... Melting when in contact with molten rock....
cold effects.. brittle armor when exposed to extreme cold.
Corrosive (already one on at least 1 world). Slowly eats away at anything not armor.

and so on.

I wish you luck progressing with this mod.
