You probably need to reload the torpedo blueprint on the projector. But honestly, I would update the script in it with teh newest Easy Homing script from Alysius workshop page; and update the launch control script with his latest launch control script. Then re-blueprint the torpedo and put it back in the projector.

If you dont want to do all that - fire a Space + atmo torpedo instead of the space one. That projector still works last I checked. Somehow the main projector, the projection itself is set ownership neutral I think? or some other issue. I am releasing a new updated torpedo + small grid missile + PDC vanilla warship very soon.

For some reason the only torpedo that successfully prints is the dummy torpedo. Is there any way to fix that?

Hah any ship with script and grav drive costs a lot of pcu now. Nothing fun is buildable.

Btw folks be sure to update the script with Alysius newest one. This old script works but lags and is inaccurate

It seems the ingots dont do additional damage after all. These torpedo's just work pretty well anyway, even empty. You can/should run these with no iron ingots or components loaded, empty, so that each is as cheap as possible. Will do same damage as with everything loaded, now. 7-10 Heavy armor blocks per torpedo.

Ship still works incredibly well. Had to change spacemaster cleanup settings for my servers but these torps are still punching through entire ships longways. 2 well placed shots gutted that behemoth in the Workshop called AHAB.

@Alysius i know full well master of amazing torp scripts :), their name of scatter torps do not work on ingots, in fact, a far more dirtyer method. and yes, even dirtier than a couple of overweight stones being trown from a gravity funnel

Yeah, I think I know you @overwerk from Rdav's Discord. I'd love to see some of your designs, and I was going to use the deployment feature to arm the warhead once it got close. I'll probably have to see if it works better when I also detonate it, because having it detonate naturally on impact might give the explosive components a longer time to spread out.

Some good ideas in this thread ;) I think I have some torpedo varients (warhead etc) in my workshop which may still work properly.

Kinetic scatter using ingots won't do any damage after the major physics update. Only grid will do damage to other grids via kinetic.

@Screw Everyone i recoment if you go the HE way to detonate it using the onboard "deployement" feature for the script. if you want, i can give you lessons on how to build multiple types of torpedoes as i have been weapon designer for multiple PVP factions for a long time and i made torps and other PMW my speciality

Kinetic scatter? Also, it'd be possible to replace the timer block with a warhead and have the missile arm it once it gets close. Then you'd be able to perform a proper explosive component detonation. Also, would anyone mind if I upload my updated version of the Daenerys? The current blueprint is a bit outdated in some ways.

probably alter the script that fills them with ingots. sadly, i think this would not work since the explosives have to be detonated as objects, which requires the containers to be destroyed and explosives triggered by warheard explosions. the daenerys torpedo design is a short one as well, which prevent's it to be used for kinetic scatter torpedoes, which are the most reliable to deal 170+ heavy armor block penetration rating

After the major physics update, floating objects does zero damage (even a stack of 1 quintillion ingots won't do any damage). Ore container bombs are dead. The only container bombs that still works are those stacked with Explosives.

this ships is what made me start my ship building career. sure, now i can make some even more deadly but it remains a true beacon of power. just the torpedoes are a bit too outdated, since they used the old floating object system.

Deanerys is my favorite ship in the game and in new major upadte everything works fine only the rear thrusters break blocks.

Note: This ship is working fine but you will want to remove the projections from all but the LIDAR space torpedo projector. Some SE bug is causing all projectors with a loaded image to project and attempt welding when one turns on.

I recc. not using mixed grids. Still explodey and unstable, and they interfere with grav drives in my experience. I intentionally built this ship to be large grid only, to prevent multiplayer issues. Glad to hear torps still working.

Later today I should have a chance to test it again in vanilla. Last night I was playing modded ship buildoffs, and when I used it, it properly loaded up every torpedo with 4 stacks of 10k iron ingots, like it's supposed to. I've been working on a version that uses small ship text panels in the cockpit, so it has more room for things like Whip's Artificial Horizom, and Alysius's floor plan script. I've found the artificial horizon script extremely useful for stopping, as it can show you the opposite of your current movement vector, allowing you to maneuver your ship so that the maximum amount of engines are stopping you. The floor plan script is a requirement for anything larger than a scour fighter with my builds, and its great for being able to tell you where damage is, and where sensors detect ships.

I will add, I leave it up to people here on the workshop if they wish to update or change it and repost it. There are also ship cores on my workshop page that can be used to make a pvp ship of this nature.

Someday I will update it, if people return to space engineers multiplayer. It was made for survival MP pvp. The grav drive script should be 6 direction WASD and was working last I checked. It is not the best at canceling torque however. Script is pretty dated at this point. Yours may be better if it works with spherical generators. I prefer spherical since they double as grav drives and are efficient, in terms of parts used.

I have not played in ages, what is the projector timer issue? The timers have to be retimed based on server settings since weld multiplier is always different.

Absolutely amazing build. Many large ships like this sacrifice actual usability and combat viability to make stuff look cooler and be nicer. This ship still looks absolutely amazing while being the most viable combat cruiser I have ever used. The only way I can possible think it could be better would be modifying the gravity drive to work with JRGD.

It is a custom script but you can grab it from the program block on daenerys. Meridius_IX wrote it and it may be on his workshop page. He is listed as one of the creators here so easy enough to check.
