You can use paint to resprite, however you'll have to remove the white background with another program for example Gimp which is free.

i think this may go without saying but i did want to add, I dont think this mod is compatible with Mac's file formating, as someone who has placed my own characters into windows and had them playable. not to say anything needs to be done. just to clarify for those downloading.

you see, using paint is the problem. when you use paint, it removes the transparent capability, and as a result, it makes the background white.

i used paint to resprite but always when i use a character theres a white box arout his head...someone help please.

When I change the sprites in the files, the sprites look like the default ones. How do I get my custom sprites into the game?

everytime i give both the animation and player the same name the game shows the menu empty even tho there are no typos

@Physilver yes, your animation name should match the name in the players.xml file.

agreLian you have a typo in one anm2 (Gothika instead of Gotika) also add an entry to Death Screen anm2 for Gotika

I am having trouble with adding a new character other than The Worst/Invert. I animated the character menu and and did all the artwork. Any suggestions?

Nice! I'm still struggling to get the menu art to work. Even looking at how you did it, I still can't get anything to work. Portrait doesn't show up and no character sheet. Any ideas?
