If this mod is broken in the Aquatica update, I will be coming back to fix it if we ever actually get a DevKit update. We've been told that the update will come at some point "in the coming weeks" but I don't have high hopes that it'll ever actually arrive.

Oftentimes it takes several months for a DevKit update to arrive after content is added to the game. Given that Wildcare is no longer working on ASE and this DLC + update was entirely Snail Games, it's possible that the DevKit will never be updated.

If it does, I'll recook this mod if it's needed.

Works fine in my game. Once again folks, as I have said to many other comments: THIS MOD IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH STACK MODS. If you "don't know why" it won't take your stone arrows, make sure you aren't using a stack mod. If you tell me it won't take your arrows and say nothing else, I will not respond to your complaint because there's nothing for me to fix. It's user error.

Does the overhaul mod include any stack size adjustments? Does it affect the arrows in any way at all? The only way they wouldn't be recognized is if they aren't actually vanilla

Mod works fine in my single player game, great mod. But I also have a private server running sometimes and the Stone Arrows are not recognised by the mod, can't craft the arrows, only the narcotics. Aside from the first overhaul mod in my mod list I run the same packages of mod so I doubt it's that.

There isn't, no. As I mentioned in the dart discussion thread, the level requirement for it would be above the pre-ascension level cap, and I strongly dislike gating content behind things like that.

there is no pure tranq dart? it just seems like you'd have the whole set of tiers for all projectiles???

What I love about this mod, is the narcotics are same mats, just more of them, the way it should be, no black pearls, no organic polymer, just rotten meat and narcoberries in big quantities can make pure narcotic.
Thats how all mods should be.
One of the absolute best mods, that gives an edge vs. lvl 600 dinos (difficulty=20) instead of using 10000 darts with asc. gun.
10/10 for a grat mod that just works :)

I'm not sure why but the mod doesn't recognize my stone arrows. I can't add them to the table's inventory and I can't craft the coated arrows in my own inventory cause despite having 80 arrows in my inventory, the mod thinks i have none. I also tryed dropping the arrows and crafting a new one with no luck. ONly way i can use this mod is by spawning the arrows in.

snapshots just last thing I see when games trying to load up with mod if I try load it with mod added game will always crash once reaches there soon as I remove the mod from the list games works just fine probable just a Devkit thing and need to wait on it

Oh, if it's a snapshot error it's not a mod thing. People used to get that error type all the time in the past. Had to do with some ARK file not being right. You could fix it by deleting a particular file. A quick google search is showing that both versions (admittedly other numbers) were fixed by deleting LocalProfile, and possibly Config as well. Would you be willing to back up those folders and delete them, and let me know if that fixes it for you?

i'm not sure as too the how just that when I tried to load a game up with it the games just CTD looked like hung up at snapshot 14 I think its probablem is only with the new DLC and once they give out that inofmration sure will work fine once again

How did it stop working though? Do the engrams just not show up anymore? If so I can try recooking it and see if it just needs a newer timestamp. But if that doesn't fix it I'll have to wait for an update to the devkit, which could be anywhere from two weeks to three months. We unfortunately have no idea when we'll get that update, but it usually takes at least a month after a DLC releases.

far as I know it wasnt broken the new DLC being out just stopped it from working other wise I had no problems using any of the mods abilitys and being able to nock things out with out smashing my face into a desk as took hours with normal narc arrows this was really good mod to have

As soon as we get a DevKit update for Genesis I'll update the mod to fix it. This is the first I've heard about it being broken however, so any info you can give me about what's wrong would be quite helpful. Is crafting broken? Table placement? Do the arrows/darts not equip to weapons anymore? Is the torpor amount not correct? Also, this may seem like an odd request but what map are you playing on?

I saw someone mention elsewhere that either weapon damage or torpor values had gotten messed up in the update, but a friend of mine was just testing my other mod a few minutes ago and said that the torpor amounts were correct. I suspect it may be something with the Genesis map itself causing the bug. I haven't bought it yet so I can't test that myself unfortunately.

I'm not offering active support for this mod anymore. If it breaks, I'll fix it. But I'm not going to add new features, adjust settings, or anything else. I have other, MUCH higher priority projects I'm working on, and you already have a built-in option to disable friendly fire if that's what you want. If you just want to be able to shoot these wherever, too bad. Aim better. That's the price of higher torpor.

I see. As far as I can tell it must be caused by something in extinction core then. My guess would be that it remaps the vanilla dart engram, which is a required engram for the first of my darts. Unfortunately I don't think there's anything I can do to circumvent that. I've posted a list of spawn codes in the discussions for you, along with the engram entries. You might be able to use the UnlockEngram command to unlock it.

With extinction core at the top as it must be I cannot aquire the engrams for the darts and only the darts it seems, they show up but attemting to aquire them does nothing. Sadly psycho is on hiatus

I'll put together a list of codes, but in the mean time: what is the nature of the problem? Are the engrams not showing up? The table not placing? The darts not crafting? Does it say you don't have the required crafting materials, and if so, what stack mod are you using? I may not be actively developing this anymore but if something has broken then I'd like to fix it.

@JesusFreak Karkinos/Giant Crabs can only be knocked out the way golems are, so no tranqs will work on them, including mine. Use ballistics instead; cannon balls, rockets, etc. iirc, Nameless can't be knocked out at all. My own use showed my tranqs working on Aberration creatures just fine last time I played, and there shouldn't be any reason why they wouldn't work unless WC changed something about how their torpor works in an update. Are there any other creatures you're having problems with?

I'm glad we got it working, lol. I never use spawn commands in my own game so I always end up forgetting some detail or another. I know I've changed the paths since I first launched the mod, so I should probably just put up a spawn command thread, shouldn't I?

...that might be because I forgot a set of quotation marks in there. Because I'm Dumb like that. So add a full set in front of blueprint and after the path name before the quantity. Like so:

"Blueprint'/Game/Mods/ProgressiveTranqs/2/arrow/PrimalItemAmmo_ArrowTranq_Child_TranqMod2.PrimalItemAmmo_ArrowTranq_Child_TranqMod2'" 1 1 0

that should work, unless I'm even dumber tonight than I realize lol

Needs an update because I think it is conflicting with a mod I have, possibly Extinction Core. It won't allow me to get the engram when I have all the pre-requisites. If I use without any mods, it does allow me to get the engram.

hmm i seem to have a bug, it wont let me learn the engram for potent, concentrated, and distilled darts. itll flash for a second when i try to learn it, then nothing.

I have yet to learn how to set up ini options, but once I do I was planning to add an option for crafting speed in the table. If it's possible to add one for torpor amount I'll consider doing so. It shouldn't need any particular spot in the load order. The only other real experience I have with mod interaction is with skyrim, but that works a bit differently afaik so I'm not sure exactly how it'll interact with stack mods and such. If you run into a problem them my advice would be to load this before (below) a stack mod, but I THINK I've got it set up to not conflict.
