I like this because it's a damage up and gives wiggly tears :3

I've also wished wiggle worm stayed as an item and not a trinket.

I want to like this. I really want to like this. I just...don't. The visual effect looks cool, but overall just being a damage booster is really underwhelming. If you look at the Vanilla signs, they all either do multiple things or have some unique and interesting effect. Well, except for Aquarius, wich is unarguably the worst one. To me, a damage up and a permanent wiggle worm effect just aren't comparable. Since Ophiuchus is associated with medicine and healers, I'd probably add something like the Placenta's regen, or Gimpy's heart drops, even if it meant lowering the damage a bit (or even removing the damage and going with a luck bonus for thematic reasons).

Also, of the two signs that exist for Ophiucus, I just find the U one to be the less appealing.

Well, I was hoping to make some constellation items, and currently a lot of constellations still don't have anything, such as the water snake constellations Hydra and Hydrus.
It's not ophiuchus, but in the same kinda area!

I was thinking about immunity to curses and + 1.05 damage, though it was an early thought. It may change (or not at all since this mod exists :steamhappy:)

Yeah alright, secret room pools would be a good idea in order to reflect that.
I am currently working on a mod to add some more constellations to the game.
Not sure how Cetus should act though since I don't know too much about it, so thanks for providing a bit of insight!

"The path of the sun, the ecliptic, does not actually enter the constellation of Cetus but simply touches a point of its boundary between it and Pisces. The Sun, however, is a disk in the sky, not a point, and therefore part of the Sun (up to half the disk) strays into the area of the constellation for not quite a full day. You have to have a whale of a lot of luck to be born under the "sign" of Cetus, the Whale (or Sea Monster, prominent in the legend of Andromeda and Perseus, but that's a story for another night....)."

I was saying that Cetus is a really strange sign to be born, and the item should reflect it. Maybe add it to the secret room pool?

Problem with Cetus is the lack of an official symbol.

Great mod, good idea. Really fits the Isaac style. Maybe scale down the damage buff a bit. Cheers.

cool idea, but double dmg is very powerful, I'd keep wiggly tears but a dmg up of 1.5 should be powerful enough.
Instead you could add something like a wiggling tear height (on every 1. shot use normal tear height, 2. shot + 2, 3. shot +4, ... up until a certain point then revert back to the normal height, reset counter, don't know how hard that is in lua), would fit to the other wiggle :)

The point is to increase tear height so far that the highest 2, maybe 3 shots of the wiggle go over stones, i don't know how high the stat must minimally be to do that (+7 is enough, that I know).

I like the idea... however, double damage is a bit too much. Maybe a +1.5 dmg up and random slithering tears?
