The Imperial Routine mod spawns factions somehow, see what they did. Also friend me on Steam, I’m a fellow modder and am also making a mod that would go very nicely alongside this.

The author of that mod is ButtJunkie. If you head over to the Stellaris Modding Den on Discord he's got a channel for his mods. Maybe you should join start a channel for your mod. It's a great resource for help.

Hey you're back! I'm super excited from what I've seen on the ModDb page. One tiny thing though, I've recently become attached to a mode that removes tiles and pops from the game, as well as reduces the number of ships by half. The upside is a Huge galaxy runs at full speed. The mod is called Planetary Development Overhaul.

The mod's gonna need to be more-or-less rebuilt for 1.5, so it's going to take AT LEAST a few months. But I am planning to update!

Not anytime soon. Banks looks like it's more-or-less a polished up version of this mod, although I admit I haven't actually spent much time playing it. Anyways, I'm still undecided if it's worth continuing to develop.

It was a problem of not updating steam :P its fine now, though iam now waiting for this to be banks compitable :) Hope it will be soon, best of luck!

pop_faction_types\bo_corporation is what your looking for
Remove the "become_mega_corporation" support effect and you should be good to go ;)

Ah. Yeah, that makes sense. Just tad annoying in the meantime. If you don't mind, what event is it that does the final part of their chain? (e.g. them taking a planet). I'm enjoying the mod overwise, and if its feasable without breaking everything, I'd probably just snip that bit out in my download

Forgive me if i have missed a feature of the mod but I think it would be interesting to influence or "stage" rebellions in forgien empires. With a huge diplomatic cost should you be caught supplying arms or if the rebellion fails.

I pretty much agree with you. I never really fleshed them out the way I wanted to, so was instead planning to work on revising them if/when I update the mod to 1.5 so that they can use the new faction system.

Seriously, mate, corporations are ruining this mod. Supressing them only slows them down, costs way too much influence and steals your planets. Maybe add corporations as a planet modifier?

Or at the very least, reduce the autotruce time. Waiting ten years to reclaim what was stolen is...annoying. Even more so if you're a militarist focused democracy. Service ensures citizenship...unless you're rich enough to buy a planet, it seems.

Very fun mod...only issue I'm seeing is corporations. Supressing them doesn't stop them from stealing one of your core worlds, and you have to wait 10 years to war it back. Maybe add a policy for market freedom or such? e.g. more state control and more lost to corruption in exhcnage for no risk of corporations v risk of corporations but more resources?

Go to events/bo_civilian_ship_events.txt and delete the first event (lines 3-140).
I haven't tested it, but I'm almost certain that will safely remove civilians.

I dislike them popping up without reason and breaking siege for no reason.
Dislike the cost of having something being destroyed that I did not make/solicit.
Also dislike how often they spawn during sieges.

The civilians are causing me all kinds of pain.
They need either a) their own spaceports or b) to use their nation's spaceports.
As it stands they just spawn and ruin my game. Can you make a policy option that kills them game-wide, please? Until then I can't really play the mod, to be honest, too aggravating.

Hello, The mod seems really interesting and very well done, it brings a lot of interesting stuff to the politics game, however, I feel I must adress the modding situation, the mod seems to be incompatible for the sake of being incompatible. you've included several base files either unchanged or maybe one or two lines are changed, which really messes up compatibility for other mods. And what's worse is in most cases completely unneccessary for the mods to be incompatible.
I understand that you can't guarantee compatibility with other mods, but please consider only including base files when you need to.
