Report a translation problem
i think that's an unintended solution coz it's too simple, the screenshot has it all solved, ready to bounce :p i never used that specific portal placement there to paint the floor or move the cube or anything, i just wanted my portal on the screenshot and it happened to accept it there, why is that? Coz it makes no sense to place an horizontal portal there specially if it is recquired for the actual solution.
One thing though: the button that inverts the polarity of the funnel should show that connection more clearly, maybe with a connection path (you could just let one instead of the two that are on both the funnel and bridge of the first button, since it's already clear their connection).

I used the light bridge through the orange portal with orange gel on it and right as I was over the repulsion gel, I placed the portal somewhere else. Good level, it was clever.
