which one? at the timenthere were crashes because of a helmet, but the mod is still outdated ( (i'm doing stuff to make a better one)

Haven't got much time for modding ^^. But feel free to copy the mod folder from workshop to your kenshi folder so you can remove all the stuff you don't need, you just have to remove any changes a'd it reverts back to vanilla.

Did you ever fix that crash? I removed this mod and I was still suffering crashes so I simply unsubscribed from all. I love this mod but I can't use it with the crashing.

Phew it's reassuring ^^. There must be some sort of cache, I already uploaded the good skeleton months ago. So to anyone that had it for a while uninstall/re install so you get the proper meshes ^^.

BTW I've found a lil bug (not a crashing one), I used a wrong mesh for legion helm (male) , the norman helm instead.

I've tried each one of them, when I had bug it was crashing with my custom start if I removed the badly exported stuff. Did you try to remove the mod and re install it ? Maybe related to that ? I don't have crashes with mine (whereas I had before I re-exported, in the same places you have yours).

Thought you might want to know, there seems to be a crash near Spider Plains/Watcher's Rim/Arach being caused by this mod. Sam thinks it may be related to the "barbarianhelm05.skeleton".

I've tried both with and without the mods. Without mods it doesn't happen, while if I turn on just these two it crashes when I run through this specific area of the map.

Phew okay ^^ . Weird that advanced smithing causes that bug, can't see how it's related (maybe there is some kind of weapon generation error ?)

PS: the double occasional double merchants in the shops and double guard shops on the other hand seems to be a *bug* in the current Kenshi version since I got one of those instances in a non-modded game start

Found it, used a Rockbottom start went to Stand and kept importing that save so I could check it all fast.
Aparently your mod actualy made things a bit better.
The culprit was Advanced Smithing (Edge 2, 3 & 5) and sadly it's not even a reaction to another mod (tryed it with just that). You mods weapons weren't affected by that problem so there where less weaponless guards.
Still your mods in the clear! ;)
At least I don't need to also give this one up that would've made Kenshi a bit more bleak again ... I actualy found you mod after getting bored of all the damned Dust Bandits all having the same freakin' gear ... I mean I get why Starving Bandits all looked the same ... they just scrounge up what they find ... I get why guards are indigo copies of each other sometimes ... the 'employer' dresses them the same ... but dust bandits just made for freakin' sense ! :steammocking:

If it occurs at game start you can get it quite quickly ^^ .

I was also starting to doubt it's you mod, added something new to this playhrough and it's making things wierd, some guard patrols are doubled, shopes with twice as many shop guards or sometimes 2 shop keepers ... will need to check mods one by one to see what's the cause for this. Most likely the one causing the problem is also at fault for the mising weapons ... time remove a lot of mods and add then one by one -.-

Never saw any unarmed guard. I have made 4 variants of guards(4 weapons possible). I'll check out just in case ^^. Other mods ?

hmmm... is there any chance this mod makes some of the guards fight unarmed ? 'coz I just started a new game where I have 2 unarmed guards at the gates of Blister Hill :steammocking:

And then, of course, none of the shops are selling either of them, but the graphic did not match the physical descriptions between the two. Like the worded description of the suwayah was 3 bladed but it looked like a blade edged gauntlet, and the cestus looked like 3 blades. You might be able to double check that easier than I atm.

What do you mean by reversed? I meant the suwayah to have 3 blade and the cestus to be more bulky (if it's not the case they might be reversed ^^)

I've corrected some models in the core pack (some caused crashing actually but were not spawn in game). Since then however, no crashes in my game in places where it did.
Update + fixing models might have solved it :)

The weirdest part in that crashing bug is that it does it in zones where i dindu nuthing actually.
Near yhe bug master there might be berserkers but even removing the modified squads there were still crashes oO.
But common point is that they are hard loading zones even in vanilla...

Hello again, wanted to let you know that I was getting that flickering white/black into camera issue on the experimental build without the AWP weapons mod. That was coming from something else, possibly vanilla.

I've started another game with core, squads, vendors, TW & patch. 40 days in and no crashes, really enjoying the variety. I'm going to try to make a squad member for each weapon as I come across them, just for fun.

Running 3.0 squad size, 3.0 nest frequency, and 3.0 in the options menu, I do not think it's the number of weapons spawning at once or I'd probably have issues everywhere. Mainly going from Shark to Slave Market to Clownsteady to Drifter's Last for now.

The icons thing is a real bugger without anyway to preview. I couldn't make ones better even with a preview, but at least I know it is not just something I broke. I'll be trying to find/think of any spawns unique to that area but I'm sure you've gone through it exhaustively already. Slavemongers tore up my new start with big smashy hammers. I was a bit jealous.

Yup I noticed same bug in same biome, can't figure why as I don't necessarly change lots of spawns there, it's only related to this one not to core. I think game engine can't handle too much variety in these lands (must take too much memory or something).

Sorry about icons, It's almost imposible to tweak them as I always see the icon once, then even if I mod it doesn't change for me (and I don't have enough free time to recreate the mod 100 times ^^" ). If only there was some preview..

So for adamag and surroundings yeah, disable squad mod until you get out of it, at the moment I can't figure why it does that (only at this place furthermore).
