What happane if i install a mechanoid brain into a human. The description states that "it may be too dangerous to connect with anything important". What does that mean?

no need to make dlc, u can simly fork my repo from https://github.com/porohkun/MechanoidRecycling and public your version at workshop together with your additions, but must credit the original author and redistribute it under the same license.

that mod that allows you to harvest limbs/organs after death could be used as a substitue for what your trying to achieve but this is a cool mod idea is it compatible with EPOE?

there's also a way to take body parts out of dead people; i have a couple related mods to that in my collection for rimworld. it's either the surgery one or the one that lets you butcher the dead for spare parts. can't remember right now. that might be helpful to you as well for future versions.

by the way, if you're planning on implementing a similar thing anyway, there's a 'mechanoids drop weapons' mod that is simpler and allows only that. just noticed your WIP entry and thought it might be of interest to you.

bc the bill shows only when theyre injured and the desc says they are dead when you recycle them

hey, so, your mod seemed to be working fine but i think it conflicts with EPOE. i was running both at once and i was able to disassemble mechanoids, get the special parts out of them, and then make bionic body parts from them... but then it bugged out and i couldn't perform surgery on anyone- or even administer any drugs. then i tried to disable your mod and it totally broke the save to where it says i can't save the game. 'destroyed object' related errors keep popping up. is there any way to make a compatibility patch to make your mod work with EPOE?

Nice! A rather ambitious Features list, too.

I do hope that you find a way to allow players to recover prosthesis from human corpses. Such a feature has been requested a number of times and not just by myself.

The current version runs with A17, but it makes scythers ridiculously weak. I've traced the problem back to the change of some names - as soon as the scyther is shot and damaged, the game checks for parts that provide MovingLimbCore under tags, fails to find one (because in 0.16 it had a different name, and was under activities), and downs the mechanoid.

I've tried fixing this by copying over the part defs from the core and it seems to have worked. (I also added a new recipe for crafting a personality core from 10 brains, using the intellectual skill with a min. crafting of 10 and min. intellectual of 15.)

How about being able to break down the mechanoid brain and have the parts be able to fix human and animal problems and deficiencies? It could give those who are Engineers or Roboticists advanced algorithm processing to speed up their work, or make those who are Snipers (or any other character using a long range weapon) able to calculate the advanced algorithms needed for longer range sniping, or make those suffering from dementia not have dementia? This one is a little far fetched, but reverse engineering some parts of the mechanoid brain to recreate a synthetic AI core, and then take these implants to create Symbiotes, and then program the AI core for whatever the person is good at (Crafting, Shooting, Animals, Warden), and enhance their abilities 200% (kinda like what I said above but this is looking INTO the recreation of the mechanoid brain parts. Idk, just a crazy wicked idea I had, thought I'd share. Leave me some feedback.

Thank you for making such a nice mod. However, I get too many mechanoid parts and plates, so I want you to improve this mod to be able to smelt bulk parts/(and plates) like vegetable garden's resource leaf.
