Well, I'm hoping they DO (or CAN). FP said they would look into whether or not I could just give them a replacement Specular Map to upload. If it works out to be that easy then it should be good! I'd hang on to it obviously, and give them time to fix it. Like I said, there have been other skins with issues like this that they've fixed. This is an OLD one (2017) so it worked for years before the specular map vanished, so there's gotta be a fix for that.

If they dont fix the skin what do you think should be the next action cause I really want to use this but at the moment kinda looks very weird the way it is.

Thanks for looking into it and that is good news to hear, I hope that they solve the issue because apart from the voodoo daddy ice pick this is the best looking ice pick in term of uniqueness in how it looks. I liked the lava pick but since it glows i hate standing out at night and this has a theme im trying to go for since I use the ruinic skin for the stone tools.

Okay! So they looked into it and, apparently, the Spec Map (a file that gives the obj it's shine and also brings out the color In the shine) vanished! I am hoping they can reupload the spec map or let me do it. That is just so bizarre. I haven't used mine in ages (I use my Shocker one because I love black and yellow crap) but I gotta jump in game at some point and try it out. I messaged them tonight and I attached one of Disco's shots again! Thanks for the heads up!

Here is the link to how the skin is loading, the handle looks like it loaded but everything else is not loading. I bet if Face punch fixed this the skin would look amazing and probably go up in price since it is one of the most unique looking skins for the ice pick.

Hey Da Wae! I didn't know if it was still an issue because Disco never replied after that so I assumed it was fixed! I'll let them know again! Hope they fix it. I know they can, because this happens with other skins in game.

Hey Stabby I love the skin but after i bought it and made sure I was subscribed to the skin when I went in game the skin was doing the weird halfway loading thing that Disco provided pictures for. Is this a known issue or anyway to fix it cause I love the skin and how it looks in the model and pictures

I tried that tasty, some do some dont its a hit and miss. Like the Heart door doesnt work, but like the new red sheatmetal door does.

Reddit post says "Open the Workshop while in game and navigate to the item and it will update." They always download for me when I click Subscribe though. Some things (Steam client side) don't update if your showing as "Offline".

I have subsribed, and tried everything. It just wont show up. I have tried everything from restarting steam, to reinstaling steam, to reinstaling rust, to subscribing to skins i have. I just have a big white box and nothing i do fixes it D:

If you click Subscribe button on the Items workshop page, the Skins install. You'll see the 0 of 1 Items< 1 of 1 items completed at the bottom of steam UI.
