I catapulted myself across the laser pit as you are probably supposed to, but instead of flying towards the cube-spawning button, I shot my first portal at the surface, you're flying towards and another to the leftmost upper portal surface to your left, while flying. Thus, I could instantly fling myself to the button that angulates the pannel near the starting door and skip the entire part with the cube and the funnel. It is kinda hard to do, because you need to shoot the portal at the panel near the end of your fling first, since the portal funnel mechanic otherwise stops you short of the portal and you lose all momentum. But I still think, it's funny. ^^
It requires some thought after the window blows out to continue the map to the end.

more tips:after the red button in the obzevation room is broken, you can use the blue tunnel in the 1st area the lift you in the black hole in the obv room.
Still, worth a play to if you want a challenge!
Nice longer Map, I got stuck in the room with the broken turret and the laser though
Demented as it is, there IS a way out.
Also the sign between both chambers reads "perioidically" instead of "periodically". I guess that's too small a mistake to rebuild. That's really far from a bother.
Apart from that, it was fun and a really creative way to use the low-gravity mechanics!
i would suggest making the glass braek less frightening and weaker so the player clould spot the hole, or just making the hole more visable (and making it less loude)
Thank you for is awsome set !
I did discover somewhat of a secret though. In that same room after the window hatch has closed, the window looking over the room is broken, and you can walk freely through the "exit to the surface" corridors. However, there are no true exit there as the doors won't open. But there is a window breaking button there though.
Gotta love 'em smashy-smash! Wheatley won't be happy :/
what more could you want from a map??
1) I didn't use the excursion funnel or the cube in the first room at all (and I couldn't imagine how to properly use them). If you jump at the end of the orange gel you can get to the second floor with the button.
2) In the second room I didn't use the orange gel (and I don't know why it was there)
3) I also didn't use the laser, because it's placed too high to hit the turrets. The window breaks many times just because of turrets falling and shooting in its direction.
4) I didn't understand how the four blue target marks (in the second room) were meant to be used.
Anyway, the map was great and it was amazing to see the window breaking!!
nice map anyway
(Portal 3 confirmed)
