You're not doing anything wrong. Welder range was changed years ago and it broke this ship's missile reload.

Hello, I realize that this ship is a few years old. The missile launch still works just great but when I reload them the welders do not build the entire missile just the front section. Is there something im doing wrong?

Do the missiles have a timed self destruct system ?? The issue i see with this is if the missiles miss they are technically powered small grids and probibally wont get auto cleaned by a servers garbage collection scripts. when you take into account how many of these it is possible to actually launch the performance impact could be high

@Son o'Petrified Yeah, thats probably your issue. Any timers built via projector forget their settings. Hopefully the fix will come to stable soon.

Added oxygen tank and generator.

With the bugs at the moment it's difficult to get any PMW working, so don't worry too much. :D

@High Ground Yeah, I've thought about doing a demo world with all the PMW I've made so people could make their own BPs. I've also thought about doing a few instructional videos. But idk, I don't want to promise anything. I guess the world wouldn't take too long to put together, assuming any of the older ones still work properly.

You guys need to start making stand alone weapon systems that people can build ships around. For example build a single torpedo launcher that players can plug into their own ships.

@Trozzo Aha, 4k skybox, I'll try that. Thanks man. There was a green skybox at one point but i'm not sure that still works.

I use photoshop for that. First I take a screenshot of the ship with a very dark skybox, I often use a 4k whatever milkway or something like that. After the screen, in photoshop I make a layer copy of the screen, then use magic lazo tool with a 8px threshold. Select the background and delete. After that I go manually cleaning all the borders I don't like how it was selected by the tool with the simple lazo tool. It's more complicated to explain than doing it.
Once did that you can use that layer on any template you did like the one in the description here. You can keep the template and just replacing the ship to make it in a standardized way.

What do you think of my information pic, it's not anywhere as good as your stuff, but I think it is ok. I got to ask though, how do you get such a clean shot of your ship? I had to manually erase quite a lot of the background.

Thanks! It's a great system I think, but I didn't come up with the detach mechanism, I saw it on reddit. The modding of it to work with Whip's guidance was me though, not bad for a guy who can't code for shit!
