I was about to say "I'm not sure why this is in my queue and I'm playing it" but, looking at the last comment, it must be down to @Dark Rozen. Anyway, still a great puzzle  video 1 - probably intended solution.

I remember playing this a while back, and I played it again just now and still like it.

Nice puzzle! I enjoyed the exploration of the theme, and remembering that fizzlers are not quite so cruel in monoportal puzzles

Still a brilliant puzzle and I still haven't "seen a ‘pocket’ used quite like that"

Nice concept! Took me a minute to figure out the purpose of the pocket to bypass the fizzler , and another minute to figure out the use of the funnel. And another minute to figure out which trick to do first, and another minute to figure out which cube to "send up" first. And another minute to holler "it's a trap" when I went back with the laser redirection cube but without the weighted cube and another minute to re-generate the light bridge to go back for the weighted cube and another minute to just plain think it through. So that adds up to a bunch of minutes of fun. Thanks!

Good puzzle! I didn't like that lazer part in the end though... figuring out the test chamber already had the player re-doing a ton of stuff, so that lazer only make he use a concept that he had already used before (to bring the lazer cube to the blue room) with no real challenge, since you already knew the concept. That button should have opened the exit door instead.

Fun map! The trick is to decide which trick to use first!

I see, I guess I'll have to go through the rest of your workshop someday to see for myself ;)

@leomievs Thank you! Back in the day, I used to explore visuals with Beemod a lot, which meant maps would more often than not look weird. Today I have a much more solid grasp on aesthetics and no longer feel like playing around with those (unless I'm using Hammer), so don't worry, my maps have gotten progressively tidier over time :P

Very good map! The design is a bit odd-looking but maybe I'm just not used to your style. Anyway, great work!

Very creative exploration of the pocket's many uses. Thumbs up.

Nice idea, nice implemented maneuvers ! I also enjoyed the fizzler's ambiguity
As IVO said, refreshing puzzle ;)

Brilliant logic puzzle and great design. I don’t think I’ve seen a ‘pocket’ used quite like that before. Checked with official walkthrough and did as intended. Thumbs up and added to favourites :)

Again quite creative

Another fave. Nice concept. I've only ever seen it used once before. This was much better.

i really like your mono portal maps. everything works so well
HugoBDesigner  [author] 14 Oct, 2017 @ 8:13pm
@Paul R for Really Not Very Good - The version they played is slightly different because the map was updated a few times after they've played in order to fix mistakes or unintended solutions. The intended solution and the core puzzle remain the same throughout, so it's not actually all that different ;)

Playthroughs by Quaternary, Nockscitney, and RectorRocks are a immediately obvious different version of this map and might not work on this version.

Thanks, Funklord! I'm glad you enjoyed my collection! I *believe* I've fixed everything that could be broken in this map. There is one move that is unintended but it's pretty hard to pull off, doesn't always work, and doesn't skip much, so I'm not too worried about that.

Just finished playing all of your primary fire puzzles and i loved all of them! This one especially was really well done. I kicked myself for not reading the description first, like I've done for every other puzzle, or i might've found the solution faster lol. I'm pretty sure I solved as intended, so all of your fixes seemed to do the trick.

awesome puzzle.
Rector 3 Mar, 2017 @ 8:46am
I used the funnel this time!

Rector 24 Feb, 2017 @ 7:16am
Uhh....what was the funnel for?

I might have brokeded it https://youtu.be/wgrQF4o8rCs
TeamSpen210 17 Jan, 2017 @ 8:59pm
So I solved this without the funnel, or that side of the upper section entirely. I just put the normal cube on the button at the start, brought the laser cube through the fizzler via the "pocket", then recalled the original cube. Then I used the plate to return and recalled the laser cube again to activate the catcher. To fix that, maybe add another laser & catcher instead of the button, placed in an alcove such that you can't hit portal surfaces or the other catcher.
