So I don't do mods, so I probably sound dumb, but couldn't you add an effect or small interior model to the skin of GS/SS so you can attatch a waypoint to the invisible untouchable model, thereby adding a waypoint to an ore?

This is a very helpful addon.
It would be great if you could make one for each of the various ore types as well.
