Spart, how do I need to edit the file for these to be available from the standard Kevlar list, rather than the Resistance Kevlar one?
EvilPolygons 2 Sep, 2020 @ 1:28pm
@TannerA
It works just fine in WOTC using the Alternative Mod Launcher.
TannerA 2 Sep, 2020 @ 1:24pm
it is not working for wotc
EvilPolygons 10 Aug, 2020 @ 4:18pm
Bug in XComContent.ini:
TemplateName and ArchetypeName entries are incorrect for medium power armor (Warden) arms & shoulders, causing them to not work ingame. The incorrect TemplateName entries are also mismatched with their corresponding entries in the localization file.

Hi. I really like this mod. It allows me to use your augments with my normal kevlar armor. However, could you consider adding the first Resistance torso piece to this mod? I really like the back of that armor on my snipers, since it gives a jacket esc appeal... Other than that, it means I can't use your other mods with resistance armor! >.<

@Géza, akit nem is így hívnak:
Have a look at "Empty WOTC Deco Slots for XCOM Soldiers", that should do what you're after.
Géza! 5 Aug, 2019 @ 3:56pm
It'd be nice to have a "None" option for thighs, elbows and torso gear, unless those come with another of your packs. As is, if someone has a Resistance bit on the mentioned locations, there is no way NOT to pick one
Spart117MC  [author] 2 Apr, 2019 @ 3:55pm
@Horseman
The mod will appear on the launcher regardless, it'll only have a warning symbol next to it indicating it was built with the vanilla SDK. There is no need for a WotC version.
[UA]Dron z Furi #12 2 Apr, 2019 @ 3:32pm
I see that by screenshoots, but mod didn't work on WOTC version...You need to make separately WOTC version.
Because I always refresh launch page with mods before game...because mix of mods of 2 versions of game can make problems. And your mode disapear in Chosen version.
Spart117MC  [author] 2 Apr, 2019 @ 1:04pm
@Horseman
The options are added to base armors not those added by the Resistance Warrior Pack.
[UA]Dron z Furi #12 2 Apr, 2019 @ 11:10am
I try, but nope..did not work...no parts form this pack...only full sets like DLC gives
Spart117MC  [author] 2 Apr, 2019 @ 10:21am
@Horseman
This mod should work with WotC. Incompatibilites tend to occur the other way.
[UA]Dron z Furi #12 2 Apr, 2019 @ 8:23am
Making this mod for War of the Chosen(Tactycal Legacy pack) version?
Spart117MC  [author] 1 Apr, 2019 @ 10:42am
@Horseman
I'm sorry I don't understand your question.
[UA]Dron z Furi #12 1 Apr, 2019 @ 9:55am
By the way, when you can make for legacy pack version?
[UA]Dron z Furi #12 1 Apr, 2019 @ 9:40am
I buy Resistance warriors pack, only because for patreon Firaxis. Thx to you now I can fully use patrs of this pack.
Zenotek gaming 21 May, 2018 @ 10:45am
sadly i am on a temporary leave of xcom because ever since wotc xcom 2 is to advanced for this computer
Seti 15 Apr, 2018 @ 7:15am
Great mod! And I can too confirm that i works in WOTC!
thanks mate
Spart117MC  [author] 27 Mar, 2018 @ 9:27am
@krumiro

Okay... I don't really know what you mean by original colors then. The mod makes use of Resistance Warriors textures which means it looks exactly like the DLC assets do.
krumiro 27 Mar, 2018 @ 3:12am
Yes, I have the original DLC purchased and installed... but the colors of the parts I select through this great Mod are different... the original Resistance Warriors colors are sooo cool... Is it only me then not having the original colors with this Mod?
Spart117MC  [author] 26 Mar, 2018 @ 8:45am
@krumiro
What? The mod should work as long as you have the DLC. The only reason textures aren't appearing for you is because you haven't got that installed/purchased.
krumiro 13 Mar, 2018 @ 8:50am
Please, please, please, include the textures so that the parts have the original colors of the original Resistance Warriors... Please, please, please... ;(
Zenotek gaming 22 Oct, 2017 @ 7:24am
it says its not compatible with wotc
Rex705 4 Sep, 2017 @ 3:58pm
is this in the DLC bashes? It says Resistance.
Swords 30 Aug, 2017 @ 4:24pm
@Landgreen: Thanks for the heads up, confirming too that's it's working.
Landgreen 30 Aug, 2017 @ 9:56am
Can confirm this mod works with WOTC
o_siyeza 18 Jul, 2017 @ 5:22am
@Spart117MC Oh, i have all the DLCs so far, so it may be something wrong somewhere xD, i will see if i can make it work :)
Spart117MC  [author] 18 Jul, 2017 @ 5:03am
I intentionally did not include textures with this mod. They draw directly from the Resistance Warrior Pack. If you're getting blanks it means that you do not have that piece of content.

As for fixing this mod, it probably won't happen for a while. I lost all my old data a while back and so I am not longer able to update this mod in it's current state. If and when I do return to this mod it will most likely be remade into a new one.
o_siyeza 18 Jul, 2017 @ 3:40am
I downloaded your mod, and all the armors appeared texture less. Hope it was only a temporary bug. Anyway, cool mod. If you are interested, i have figured out how to fix the position of the Guns in the models of the torsos (Especially in the civilian torsos, the guns in the back appear floating in the air). The fix is compatible with LW2.
Link to the fix tutorial in the Workshop
Dragon32 21 Apr, 2017 @ 11:40am
These are brilliant , thanks Spart117MC! Really this is how the DLC armours should have been set-up in the first place.
BFG 8 Apr, 2017 @ 2:41pm
@Spart117MC

How to make so that the most advanced armor use your skins from the mod?
Spart117MC  [author] 12 Feb, 2017 @ 11:13am
@Jsleezy

No prob. Thank you for the high praise. :D:
G-Zeus 11 Feb, 2017 @ 7:00pm
Great mod, man. Thanks!
Phrozehn 28 Jan, 2017 @ 5:40pm
I'm having an issue. The Advent armor shoulders are too low and my female soldiers shoulders poke through. This only started happening recently. Any idea what might be wrong? Only piece of armor to do that.
Rosenthorn 26 Jan, 2017 @ 8:31am
Finally, we can use a variation of the resistance stuff with normal kevlar, and not need to equip a whole new type of armour.
Thanks! although it's a shame all the armour using the underlay and not the hoodies and sweaters and stuff. But can't win it all.
Sherrif 24 Jan, 2017 @ 8:45pm
the resistane armor is weird, you have to equip the "resistance kevlar" in the loadout to get the DLC's customization, it's a really weird way of doing it, considering there's no stat difference.
Dragon32 24 Jan, 2017 @ 1:09am
@KommissarFrank:
Is it enabled on Steam? Also, for the armours you need to assign someone Resistance Warrior Kevlar, I think it's called, to get the options.
KommissarFrank 23 Jan, 2017 @ 5:10pm
This might be the wrong place to ask, but I have the Resistance Pack in my list of purchased/downloaded items, but I don't see any of it in-game
LeMarteau 23 Jan, 2017 @ 4:19pm
Woohoo! It will be very useful! Thanks a lot! :)
Falsebaalzebub 23 Jan, 2017 @ 2:33am
Never mind, I think I figured it out. I deleted everything under the tier 2 and 3 armors in the xcomcontent.ini in the steamapps\workshop\content\268500\846934706 folder.
Falsebaalzebub 23 Jan, 2017 @ 1:40am
Is it possible make so that it only appears for tier 1 armor and disable it for tier 2 and 3?
Rosenthorn 22 Jan, 2017 @ 7:38am
Awesome that this mod was finally made. Resistance Warrior stuff is underused in modding, even though it makes for some sweet rebel roleplay.
Spart117MC  [author] 21 Jan, 2017 @ 10:19pm
@James

The way Long War 2 does weapon purchases, along with the new tiers means updating the mod to work the way it did before Long War 2 would be a major timesink. I couldn't even get Laser tier to work back when I was actually trying. So instead I'm hoping I can just release an XSkins pack that'll work for all LW2 stuff, but I'm gonna have to see first how I can do that.

@Legion Prime

Dunno, haven't played LW2 yet. Though considering what I've seen, I'm assuming not and they're about as customizable as scientists and engineers.

@Deadput
@Dick Justice

Zevvion was probably referring to my post where I stated I was hoping to make my older weapon mods works with LW2 via XSkins. Please, no namecalling.

Also, Justice, I'll take a look at that and upload an update when I've got the time.

@Mac Dog64

It already does that by default. Enjoy.
Dick Justice 21 Jan, 2017 @ 12:13pm
Is it possible to bring the sword sheath closer to the body with particular torso selections?

"Also, never stop making mods for vanilla! Not everybody likes LW2 mind you."

Long War 2 is fully compatible with customization mods, numbnuts.
Mac Dog64 21 Jan, 2017 @ 11:54am
Love it, can you find a way to allow these arm selections available for tier 2 and 3 armour. The thing is we dont want your effort to be wasted once we get tier 2 armor:)
Deadput 21 Jan, 2017 @ 11:39am
Zevvion You do realize that cosmetic mods like this are probably not going to need Long war 2 right?

So saying "never stop making mods for vanilla! Not everybody likes LW2 mind you." in regards to this is pretty dumb.
Bladesuun 21 Jan, 2017 @ 11:20am
Thanks, this looks great. Always looking for more options to customize. Also, never stop making mods for vanilla! Not everybody likes LW2 mind you.
Rude$t 21 Jan, 2017 @ 10:39am
<3 Love it. Thanks.
Mool 21 Jan, 2017 @ 9:08am
Thanks dude I've always liked your mods.
