Its made for LW2 not LWOTC. They're very different 'under the hood'. Don't expect mods between them to be compatible with each other.

This mod causes freezes on firebrand retrieval during LWOTC. The timer just won't tick down, just FYI

@Senryakku - I had this exact same problem you described, but True Concealment ended up not being the culprit for me. The problem child ended up being the "LW2: Better Squad Icon Selector" mod, which would mess up the game even with only it and LW2 installed.
If you're still having problems, try disabling half of your mods, see if the problem is still present, and disable half of those over and over until the problem goes away. If the issue stops, you know the culprit is one of the mods you just disabled. Activate only those mods along with LW2 and continue deactivating them a few at a time until you pinpoint the exact one being a problem.

This doesn't work sometimes, maybe it's just that I'm not infiltrating right but usually I get 190-200% and it doesn't skip the timer

That's odd. Both mods work together fine for me. Did you have the non-Lw2 version of this mod enabled? I think you have to have BOTH enabled for this to function.

That, or you have the other one enabled and it is not supposed to be. One of the two.

Yep, because of this mod the game with LW2 crashes on startup :(

@Slow, This version is designed to be compatible with the Long War Mod, you may need to get the version that is for the base game, which you can find by searching 'True Concealment' in the XCom 2 Workshop. Hope this helps.

Just fired up XCOM2 again after a couple of months away and it fails to start because of three mods including this one (FYI other two are stop wasting my time - legacy and make all items available & remove unused upgrades). Any ideas?

@RedDobe, which config file do you need to modify? I tried finding those lines in 'XcomLW_Overhaul' but wasn't able to find the missions or the proper bucket modifier lines.

So, from what I see this mod is updated for 1.3. I read in the comments that it also works with 1.4, but is it fully compatible with 1.5? Thanks.

This halves the missions timers for the missions that you start concealed and doubles the speed at which the reinforcements on missions where reinforcements would start to tick from the first turn.

If the mod requires LW2, it will not be updated for War of the Chosen as far as I'm aware, since it would require LW2 itself to be updated to War of the Chosen.

As useful as this mod is WotC renders it obsolete now. One of the unlockable effects for being in contact with the Reapers is the ability to prevent mission timers from counting down so long as the squad is concealed.

I was reluctant to try this mod out for this reason, but recently started a new campaign with it installed. And I don't know that this is actually the case. Yeah, you have a bit more time to get area intel and set up ambushes, and that opens up some new gameplay options. But the missions themselves seem to be as tough as they ever were. So nice job - I'm loving it.

Switched from True Concealment default timers to this one mid playthrough after I found out it didn't work with LW2. Seems to work so far and reinforcements are working too.

I see there's an original True Concealment mod on the workshop, but it doesn't answer my question. Can I use this one mod for both vanilla XCOM 2 and when I play with LW2, or is it only for LW2 exclusively? I don't want to have to subscribe to two different mods if I don't have to.
