possibility to get stuck in the room with the cube and the 3 platforms in the water!

A very nice set of puzzles.
SpielSatzFail 19 Mar, 2016 @ 9:57am
I was afraid I had to reuse the last laser source I found until I realized there was a new one :-)

I screwed up and didn't realize there was a laser source in the last room so I went back and got a cube from the "button in the water room" and used it to keep the lift down. Then it was easy.

haha what a Bigginer fail map :D Try something harder https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=403004875

Nice chambers. It starts easy and gets more difficult. Nice use of many items. :p2chell:

got myself stuck.
kimist108 19 Mar, 2013 @ 4:27pm
Fun test chamber. The lighting was not bright for me. I llike lots of portable surfaces. Saves wasting time to go across a room to make a port.
redunzl_gw 14 Jan, 2013 @ 1:50am
Not much in the way of puzzles. Lighting was brutally bright, a common problem with PTI maps when all of the walls are portalable sufaces, because PTI automatically gives you sourceless, even lighting in any room that has a light source. Consider removing portalable panels that aren't actually part of the puzzle, especially on floors and celings. I agree that the timer in the final room was unnecessary, although I didn't have any trouble aiming the reflectocube before I turned the laser on.
Yavie 26 Oct, 2012 @ 8:45am
Really easy, but enjoyable nonetheless (: Couple of the rooms needed trial and error, but didn't take long to get things right. Also, I wish people would remember f6 and f7!
mikemoody 5 Oct, 2012 @ 2:29pm
Well done, Thumbs up, good job and all that stuff. Thats a real life puzzle, "start at the bottom and work your way to the top." Put together real good. Thanks
Eradicator 23 Sep, 2012 @ 3:29pm
There's no need for the timer in the final room. Just makes fiddling with the laser alignment annoying.

Awesome map here, keep it up!
Thanks for this map, I enjoyed it very much!
Want to try out the hardest map in the worshop?
For all of those who were waiting for my newest map (and for all of those who are new to my maps),here's a link to my newest map called "Cubelessness 2":
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=89526264
- Testing: Fizzlers/Cubes/Buttons/Funnels and their applications in the field of science.
- Difficulty: Hard-Very Hard
- Estimated time to complete: between 5 minutes and 1 hour.
If you know the first part of this map ("Cubelessness": https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=78146075) then you will find this second part even better, it is harder and more elegant, with no fancy tricks or unconventional methods here.
Thanks again

I love that this presented exactly the correct challenge level for all participants. Well paced and tricky at times. One of the best commuinity maps I've played!
Quarks123 23 Aug, 2012 @ 10:15am
very nice little map liked it
FraidOfTheLight 21 Aug, 2012 @ 2:21pm
Very good!
Namklonkie 21 Aug, 2012 @ 8:13am
I liked it. It was simple, but well thought out, smooth and not over too quickly. Sometimes I like to have myself struggle, but other times I like to just fly through. This was a smooth ride. Well made.
theOfficePortal 20 Aug, 2012 @ 10:23pm
yeah elements are obvious and actually just really annoying because it's almost totally luck if your cube sticks while flinging it (1st room). So map really isn't very good.
Toaster-Oven 14 Aug, 2012 @ 1:42pm
i agree with previous comments. a bit easy/ obvious. Which elements to use are obvious as soon as you see them. Very nice smooth appearance though. I like using the reflector cube 3 different ways at the end, best part about it.
Grübbeliger Cryptomane 6 Aug, 2012 @ 6:01am
i found it a bit to easy biut with nice ideas ^^
Troshen 5 Aug, 2012 @ 11:33am
I thought this was a great test chamber. Quite devious. The only negative I had was the possibility to get stuck and to have to start the whole thing over. In the room with the water if you get on the button platform to put the block there by hand, there's no longer any way to complete that puzzle and you have to start over the whole chamber from the beginnning. Great use of all the different game elements. Having to get lucky even after you place your portals right is frustrating, but it's completely clear that's how that test is supposed to work, so you keep going.
Fallugaloog 3 Aug, 2012 @ 8:50pm
Dunno why some people have to be rude on here. Anyways, pretty good small, easy map. My thoughts seem to echo those of others on here, so I won't be redundant. Only problems were the slight annoyance with the first room, and the ease of the turret room. Liked the lift/cube sequence, but aiming the lasers seemed finnicky. (Maybe I was going about it wrong, because I was getting some strange angles.) Regardless, fun map!
Infinite_Data 3 Aug, 2012 @ 3:33am
Interesting test. Some ideas were great, though trying to place the cubes on the buttons was kinda annoying ;)

GOOD GAME, I LIKE IT, I GIVE IT 4 1/2 STARS
Clarion-Z  [author] 1 Aug, 2012 @ 6:43am
{WS} ThiNk: No, Didn't fix that. During normal gameplay that should not happen too often. If it becomes a problem, I'll get to it. But it's still very good to know that it's possible.
Geneosis 1 Aug, 2012 @ 6:26am
Nice puzzles... Some testing elements could be bypassed (the light bridge when you get the laser cube for exemple) but the tests are not really hard ^^
Koteal 1 Aug, 2012 @ 12:23am
Did you fix getting stuck (Like I did in my playthrough) at the end, when you leave the cube up there and there's no way to go back?
BinaryGasGiant 31 Jul, 2012 @ 10:26pm
Enjoyed, thanks for publishing it on here!

Ok. No more carrying tons of cubes =P unless someone finds a new way to do that.. Also last unintented (yet clever) way to use momentum to skip ahead has been removed.
Again, Thanks to everyone for playing and also thanks to {WS} ThiNk and Meatbag for very helpful demos (which have been deleted from comments by now).
Clarion-Z  [author] 31 Jul, 2012 @ 2:17am
{WS} ThiNk : Yes please. Demo would be very helpful. If you have it stored online, could you link me to it with private message?
Koteal 31 Jul, 2012 @ 1:37am
Also, I do have a demo recorded, if you want it.
Koteal 31 Jul, 2012 @ 1:36am
(1.000 chars limit, continues last comment)

> Last room: Well, it's also fairly acceptable. The need of getting the cube down there and at the same time needing it to lower the lift is a good idea. But at this point, having three cubes completely removes any thinking there may be involved in. As for the redirection, well, I would have designed a bit bigger room, but not bad

Overall it kind of has potential, but it should include at least one not-really-obvious puzzle.
Koteal 31 Jul, 2012 @ 1:36am
You already fixed it, right? Most things, at least.

However, cubes around the map are completely useless, you only need the first + skill in order not to lose it. The fact that you fixed things doesn't really improve the map, it just makes it a bit cleaner (Which is good).

I think I am not mistaken in room order. Let's hope so.
> First room: A bit annoying first time, after that, easily nailed it on first try. Not bad
> Second room: Turrets... that can be killed just by walking.
> Third room: Bypass (you didn't fix that) with momentum. (Without it, not-so-bad room)
> Fourth room: The one with the cube falling on the button, right? It's mainly annoying!.
> Fifth room: You did fix the exploit! Good! Although I guess you wanted some use given to the hard light wall: Still nothing. If it couldn't be bypassed (For example, building cube stairs), it'd be the best chamber here (IMO)
Clarion-Z  [author] 30 Jul, 2012 @ 9:42pm
{WS} Charly¡¡ yehh : Can you send me a demo clip to show how you bypassed everything? I will try to fix the map as much as possible.

hey man, pretty nice level. i think you need to work on the second puzzle, with the turrets. thats a little easy. i especially liked the last puzzle, i hope you will keep working on this level.
