@Cl44 Do you mean RHS only? Originally the mission was CUP+RHS only, now CUP-only is also possible by not loading RHS. There is no RHS-only option atm.

Play a non (RU) version the RU is for the Russian Unit which uses CUP because it's normally not in Arma 3.

Play a Version with NT for Nato.

Be Careful when encountering a Small Ammo Base with this Crate attached to a Bunker... Ai walks through it get downed and then Instantly die. Lost Already someone to this.

Yea it's vanilla AI was fighting against the Irregulars and appearently if you put the AI skill to 1 they tend to use a Metric ton of Grenades (Thrown or even Grenade Launcher) putting it down to 0.75 helped with that.

that's good to know that it's more about Flavor thanks, still love the mod a Lot can't wait for any possible future updates :D

@Xherdos By grenade spam do you mean rifle grenades? Are you using some AI mod? I rarely experience downright spamming of nades. You could try toning down enemy skill at least. Not sure what the easiest enemy faction is. CSAT, Russian federation and US army are designed to be more advanced and have more specialized support like CAS. Otherwise it's more about flavor.

great scenario really love all the Version but i have 2 questions?

Is there a way to keep my Soldiers alive despite with no Instant Death? (Just asking because the Grenade Spam in some Missions are crazy)

And what is the Easiest Faction to fight against :D?

If you have the .rpt left, you could search for "HideOutAmmoMisProgress - Containers destroyed =" text line and let me know what the latest value was.

@Ж Leo The crates spawn varying contents, could be ammo, just weapons, just items, combinations, so that's normal. There are also crates that don't have contents and don't need to be destroyed. Was this just one time or recurring problem?

Well, I am 100% sure I have tried. Some crates don't seem to explode for some reason... I think it might have something to do with ACE because they didn't contain any explosives or ammunition (they only had the gun, didn't check if loaded or not) or could not be interacted as inventory.

I tried using under barrel grenade launcher, rpg-7 shots, tnt and even calling for jet bomb.

Very cool mission, probably the best coop/sp avaliable

Unfortunately there seems to be an issue with weapons cache missions, after exploding the weapon crates or whatever the mission is never considered complete.

@MONKEYS JUST GOT OUT THE ZOO I have made the mission compatible with ACE and the ACE medical system replaces the mission revive one if ACE is loaded. I don't have similar check for PiR, at least no yet.

Yeah PiR seems to be working OK but only for AIs outside the squad apparently, also the interaction/heal menu & buttons don't appear for the player (can't heal oneself) but non-squad AI friendlies can still revive & heal themselves using PiR's system

I was mostly using PiR as a way to boost my own health points but oh well, tried removing the PiR lines in the init.sqf but all it did was to make me invincible, though I won't venture more in there since I don't know how it works lol
Maybe there's a way to achieve that with ace I'll dig some more

@MONKEYS JUST GOT OUT THE ZOO I've used PiR myself and I like the reaction animations to replace the vanilla twitches but only for the enemies. I've added few lines to disable the PiR features for the players as there's already the revive script baked into the mission anyways.

Hi awesome mod thanks a lot for it, one of the best SP experiences

Been playing the Vietnam ones lately and, sorry if that's a dumb question but I'm wondering if there's any compatibility with mods like Project Injury Reaction or Armor Plate System? Mostly looking for a way not to die in one shot, same for my squad. Looked at the comments there and there but didn't find any mention (there's ace but not very AI-friendly)

Tried both, but it always seems to revert to Arma 3 vanilla somehow. Also tried running the .pbo without the revive files and "revive" lines in the init.sqf. Some parts of the mods oddly seemed to work though, like the PiR anims/stun (some NPCs) or the APS's health display, but never entirely.

I ticked all the mission/server overrides, but came to the conclusion that they may not be compatible at risk of breaking the entire scenario? Figured I'd rather ask for confirmation though because I'm in love with the replayability.

Hi KingN, i want to thank you for these really cool mods you made that get me into Arma, but i have a question regarding Forgotten Few mods. Is there a way to delete saves, manually or in-game? Since theres only 4 slots for saves and i'd like to play these scenerios again. Thank you

@Fedrix1409 The first mission I made for arma 2 is basically just simpler version, I have it on my computer archived but it's not uploaded anymore unfortunately. I don't own Reforger. Making a new version would be a huge task but we'll see if I'll return to making missions in the future at some point, reforger or arma 4.

Hey kingN, just wanted to say two thing, but first, I LOVE this, been play the forgotten few 2 for about 2 years at this point, which is basically since I bought the game, anyway, wanted to ask two things:
1. Recently I wanted to buy arma 2 to try the game but with armaholic down is it still possible to try The Forgotten Few 1?
2. Have you ever thought about making a Thr Forgotten Few 3 for Arma Reforger, that game seems to lack military based singleplayer scenarios and it would be cool to see The Forgotten Few on that game too

Hi KingN! I don't know how often you read or respond to comments on here but first off I wanna say you're an absolute legend. I've been playing Forgotten Few 2 for years now and it is hands down my favorite single player scenario in the entire workshop. The amount of time and love you must've put into all of these scenarios is insane and does not go unappreciated!

I do have a question for you though. I've really been enjoying some newer gear, weapon, vehicle, and faction mods lately and was wondering what I would have to do to import these mods into your Forgotten Few 2 scenarios so that I could use them? I don't really know anything about programming and modding unfortunately so I don't know if this is even something that is possible to do, let alone something I'd be capable of without breaking my game, but any advice would be greatly appreciated!

@Ackbaraddin I've answered somewhere that the lack of helicopters as a reason the ww2 would be a problem porting this mission. What I meant by that is that I would need to make an exception solely for the ww2 version to replace the helis with totally something else. Coding-wise it's more work and would require changing/breaking one of the base features of this mission to make it work in ww2 theme. Otherwise I'm sure a mission like this in ww2 theme would be cool, no doubt.

I don't know if you accept the suggestion. But if you accept, I can explain a very good idea. A Second World War themed Forgotten Few 2 can be made for Arma 3 with the same mechanics. We can manage a 5-man SAS (Special Air Service) unit on one of the large IFA maps (a terrain that includes the West). While performing operations
We can find resources in tasks. Instead of helicopters we can use planes or gliders. We can implement the tasks we receive from the radio in a hut away from everyone, rather than on a military base. In some of these missions, we may take actions that would undermine atomic bomb production.

@KingN I was curious, is there any way to use vehicles for a mission?

I.E: I've been tasked with assaulting a town, and I'd like to use a humvee for the assault. Not like the ground convoy used for land infil, but access to something I cam actually use to assault the position and complete the objective.

Fantastic mission, this and all the other ones you have done are easily my favourite for Arma3 singleplayer. Be pretty cool if the RU faction could use the new CUP uniforms, especially the new EMR gorkas, would fit so well with the spec ops vibe

@kill judo The AI shouldn't keep exiting/entering the vehicle during the insertion. Try without any extra mods and see if it keeps doing that.

@KingN Thanks for getting back to me man, main issue that I'm having is with vehicle insertion and extraction. I figured it's just Arma being Arma(We all know how the AI is) but it does get frustrating when the AI repeatedly enter and exit the vehicle during insertion, or the extraction vehicles get stuck, this issue has nothing to do with your mission, just curious if you have any ideas on why this happens. I am running TCL and Vcom.

@KingN good to know! I was thinking of trying to use the factions in the Halo mod and I know that the expansion for it by Webknight has its own AI integrated into the units so its good to know that they should be functional. Also I will say the amount of work you have put into the scripts for this is mind blowing, seriously mad props to you this is some top notch amazing work and very well laid out or at the very least well enough even a novice like myself can understand it.

@howitzerjunkie928 I've used some AI mods such as Lambs AI and ASR AI without any problems, just makes the AI more deadly. VCom I haven't tried and can't remember right now if anyone has reported problems with that particular mod.

@KingN Awesome thanks for the heads up! I've done some poking around with scenario's like KPLiberation and how changing factions in that works where it sounds pretty similar to what would need to be done with your scenario. I was curious though dose your scenario affect the AI of units at all, is it compatible with mods like VCom or are mods that change the AI best to be avoided?

@howitzerjunkie928 Thanks, glad you guys like it! About creating new factions or editing existing ones, it can be troublesome and take some time to figure how it works. It's not about "importing" anything technically, you need to manually define everything. All the factions, loadouts, terrain variables are under "libraries" folder. If you want to edit it for personal use, go right ahead!

Stumbled across your work and have to say I'm totally blown away and amazed by these mission, as someone with a rather small play group that loves scenarios like Liberation and Antistasi I think this scratches that itch perfectly. I did want to ask how easy is it to import different factions into the scenario if someone was looking to create edit one of your existing missions or port this mission to a new map.

Absolutely love this mod, but I do encounter a lot of game breaking crashes/bugs. I completed several missions but due to these bugs/crashes, I have to restart them, halting my progress. I was just curious if there was a code I can use to automatically skip/complete a mission for I can continue, thank you !

For some reason it doesn't download the mission on dedicated server. Tried reinstalling and still doesn't work. Any problem with downloading the mission or anyway to download it manually?
