@POC3442 - unlike the smaller solar ships in my fleet, this one actually needs a little time to charge up before it is fully operational. That's sort of what happens when you start to go bigger with solar only ships. One thing i can suggest is add a large fuel tank and a large generator and it will help you charge the batteries faster.

Maybe I am missing something but this ship won't go past Warp 4 on solar.

Updated to the MKII. If you want a beacon I suggest adding one in the ship editor, then you can also rename the ship to your liking. Hope you all like the second iteration of this ship.

well either way, the ship is fantastic! Keep up the great work! Only two things that i think are missing though, a beacon for emergencies, and an ejector for getting rid of whatever you aren't looking for, as well as dropping beacons or repai drones

@Shepard Thanks bud! I made some changes to the ship but can't seem to figure out how to update it. Guess I will have to make a MkII or something. Thanks for pointing that out though for sure. Kind of a wasted loader that lol.

hey just a quick note for you, there is an ammo loader INSIDE the rift generator. Since there is no way to load it in there i figure i might as well mention it

Hey no worries. I don't really do interior design lol. I place functional peices that I think make sense. But you won't find a toilet or a bench you can't sit on in any of my designs. Not that I don't like "pretty" ships. I just don't take the time to make mine pretty. This is the first ship I actually even decided to try and pretty up on the outside. It added to the mass (lowering speed) and made the ship cost a little bit more to build as well. Though I guess on the upside it also added to the hull armor so, meh, toss up.

I'm going to steal some of your exterior design ideas haha. She looks really pretty. I don't know if this is just me, but all my ships are filled to the brim with interior design. I don't know if thats something you'd want to mess around with, but multi-level rooms look good. Imagine a mall with a bio dome and a walkway around the wall that leaves room to still look out the dome from the deck. Something to mess around with.
