WOTC standalone works fine, although the upgrade follows the vanilla path and guns are not per piece.

I tried it out with the LWOTC and it doesnt work. Game is just stuck at launching after activating it.

I have not personally tested if it does or does not, based on what i remember from how LW2 originally did its stuff, i would guess this does not work with LWOTC.. though i may be wrong. I would suggest testing it out if unsure

When using Robojumpers Squad Select there is "img" image for gun. Can this be fixed somehow?

It is possible to remove few tiers of the guns leaving only eg CG ? i wanted to make the weapons something between magnetic and coil requiring mag weapons and muton autopsy, but whatever i do, remove rest of the weapons from item table in the .ini files or make them not buildable not infinite and not available from the start, the conventional tier is always there (but with no stats if i remove them from the ini). Any ideas?

The only way is to edit the mod itself and recompile it. If you download the Xcom2 modbuddy you can get to it all and it should still work if you put it back together and use it as a custom mod. I never had that issue where they were absurdly loud comparitively, only the saw.

if i remember correctly its because this mod was built for long war 2 so the pistol in long war 2 mirrors the long war 2 mod style where pistols were treated differently IIRC

Is there any way to turn the sounds down a bit? they are almost twice as loud as the ADVENT weapons.

hey so are there any plans to fix the magnum because at conventional tier i cant equip it as a secondary in replacement for the pistol which kinda blows. i was wondering if that was intentional i did read the comments but am still confused.

Atm the magnum is not giving me the 1 mobility penalty they are supposed to in lw2.

did you save the file when u modded? and the damage number which you put serves as the median of the range of damage you will get for example 6 is the middle of 4 - 8. so if you want a 8 - 12 damage, use 10, also follow up with the other tiers down the road so you wont go back when leveling up

Ok, so I've modded the ini files in the config folder, but in game the default settings still exist. How do I modify that, for example: the AR has a base attack of 6, with a clip size of 6 and a spread of 2, yet in game the gun has a damage output of 4-8 and the clip starts out with only 3 rounds out of the six. Any input? I think I might have answered my own question about the spread...

so i just found these guns not to long ago, i was wondering how to change the damage output and aim. I followed instructions above but dont know if i need to go to script or another file to do so for each weapon, can u give a step by step on where exactly in the folders/script to find the lines that im looking for? i just feel they need a little more punch at tier 1 since im running a better soilder/start. Thanks

As of right now this is the next mod i will be looking into porting over to [Wotc]. As far as i can tell weapons are not porting over kindly but i will work through it and figure out how to get a port out as soon as i can.

All cosmetic mods (except halo 4 helmets) have been converted to [Wotc] at this time.

Thank you for your guys support, ill be looking into the proper ways to update the mods without causing too much confusion. As it stands i am unsure of whether or not i need to upload the mods as new workshop files or as just updates. It will probably be a day or two while i poke around WOTC to figure out whats going on.

AlphaTIG is your best bet to get yourself a working modification of the guns, as said, youll need the dev tools because you have to edit the script files for the guns and rebuild the mod for yourself

@Nigel Thornberry, I really love this mod and i think the work done is fanstaic. I would like to add 2 mobility to the Assault Rifle, how would I go about doing that?? I added REACHAR_MOBILITY=1 to "XComLw2ReachAR.ini" but hasn't made any difference.

Any help would be appriceated :)

@Archwing Ruler, during testing which was on a different Lw2 patch the magnum was not invisible but was broken and didnt shoot properly, however i would assume updates to Lw2 have broken the magnum, as it stands with the DLC / Expansion coming out soon theres no point in investing a ton of time fixing these issues since its just going to break again.

@Silencer4 Same as the above just abilities. they were set up the way Lw2 was set up on the patch i made this for when it was released

I think I've noticed that this and / or the other sniper (Halo 5) have reduced cost of Deadeye and precision shot. The soldiers that use vanilla sniper rifles cannot use those skills after procing death from above or moving, but the soldiers with sniper rifle from this or Halo 5 mod can. is it intentional? It sorts of pains me that I will have to remove cool gun mode because of some changes that ruin the balance of a weapon :(

To be honest, the Magnum in the High Res collection is invisible, it basically makes my guy look like he is killing 5 aliens with his finger. Fun, but takes me out of the experience, you know?

Most likely not, while i am happy with the design and outcome of the custom gun varient i attatched to the BR, im not currently interested in taking the time to collect the required assets and create that for this mod at this time. Sorry for the disappointment :c

@Salus theres an alternate file in the discussion that contains a Lw2 stats varient of the SMG, i think the double shot is taken away though

@Nigel Thomberry I absolutely love the mod. Amazing work! The only thing that seems out of place to me is the M7 SMG's weight compared to the default long war smg. Is there any way to make them weigh the same? It kind of sucks hurting myself by taking the M7 when I could be taking the other and my movement options would be much better.

Hello.

I see that the price tags are not changed to LW2 1.3+ standards. Mag rifles cost 40 while in LW2 they cost 30 supplies. I've checked also plasma guns and they don't include Rapture. Do you plan on updating this?
