Question: Does this old mod work in WOTC, or is there an updated version thereof? :)
Xx_yaoitron9000xX 31 Oct, 2020 @ 11:45am
Does this work if it's activated mid-game?
Walters 16 Oct, 2020 @ 4:24pm
So far its working in LWOTC for me.
Kerizma 30 Jun, 2020 @ 11:09am
Does this work for LWOTC
shogun00blade 27 Mar, 2020 @ 11:19am
where can I config this for a mod weapon since I have the weapon mod from aliens and would like that instead of the others
Slap 1 Jan, 2020 @ 7:38am
Trying to edit this mod for cost to mass produce, I'm confused how to access it with the instructions listed. How do I do this?
Godwings101 27 Aug, 2017 @ 5:21am
I'm using the spec ops knife mod, is there a way to make this compattable with that mod?
Scopuli 8 Aug, 2017 @ 12:20am
The ingame title string for Heavy Plasma is not being displayed due to a missing blank in /Localization/XComGame.int, line 39, after ProduceHeavyBeam.

@Chapter Serf As it was stated earlier try getting at least 4 to 5 engineers as it seems you need that many to mass produce items otherwise idk what else can be done.
Chapter Serf 8 Jul, 2017 @ 7:36pm
Is there something bugging this up? I have everything for the "Magnetic Secondaries" (Arc Blade, Vibroblade, Gremlin Mark 2, Advanced Arc Thrower, Advanced Grenalde Launcher, Gauntlet Mark 2, and Holotargeter Mark 2) yet I don't see the option in the Proving Grounds...

Same goes for Plasma Grenades.
SentySent 2 Jul, 2017 @ 10:37am
@RealityMachina The Advanced Grenades research should be removed from the Mag. Secondaries requirements as the Mag GL can be built after completing the Mag. Weapons research in the current version of LW2.
Circe 31 May, 2017 @ 5:42pm
Would it be possible to make a version of this that covers the weapon types added by the Battle Rifle pack? I quite like my SAWs and marksman rifles.
Online Addict 30 May, 2017 @ 11:58pm
Ok. Now I'm confused. I KNOW I had mass-produced mag weapons on my last campaign. I just got done going back a couple saves and researched mag weapons the hard way (before I just cheated using the console), but it's STILL not showing up. What am I missing? Do I have to have lasers researched first?
Online Addict 30 May, 2017 @ 4:13pm
Started a new 1.4 LW2 campaign. Unlocked Mag Weapons and the option to unlock mass producing them is NOT available in the Proving Ground. Does this need to be updated to latest LW2 version?
Warden Harry Dresden 25 Apr, 2017 @ 11:00am
Does anyone have a list of the TechName for these projects? The only projects I'm getting are Plated Armor, Basic and Advanced Lasers and Basic and advanced Magnetic. I've researched Basic Coilguns, but don't have a Proving Ground Project to mass produce them.
Alextfish 4 Mar, 2017 @ 3:30pm
From what I've seen on reddit, it seems there are minimum required numbers of Engineers four the projects to show up. Apparently Predator Armour needs five engineers. Don't know whether this is reduced by the Engineering Research project by Tygan, but it might well be.

The mod author might not be subscribed, he hasnt replied since Jan 31st. Id some1 has him freinded could you please give him a polite reminder theres a few questions here. No rush he does such great work im sure hes just busy.
Dies Fourth 19 Feb, 2017 @ 6:37pm
Sorry to complain, the warden armor isnt showing up, just the arms do. I swore i read something about that issue bit i looked at all the comments b4 posting this and didnt find any info.
sacred soul 19 Feb, 2017 @ 2:06pm
@RealityMachina do you have any idea why Magnetic Secondaries/Plasma Grenades/Powered Armor arn`t showing up in the proving ground projects any advice would be apreciated
sacred soul 18 Feb, 2017 @ 8:37am
@Bakonon iw just recerched warden armour and havent got the mass produce option i checked the ini files and noticed it has plasm grenade for mass produce and i havent got that
RedAnchorite 15 Feb, 2017 @ 2:21pm
I'm running into a bug where I'd previously completed basic mag weapons and plated armor research, then built the proving ground and there was no mass production option. Then I researched laser weapons and got the mass production for that. Has anyone else seen behavior like this?
Surt 15 Feb, 2017 @ 6:31am
So, will this work with the LW2 Reach Weapons mod, or will I have to tweak stuff?
Kronus 14 Feb, 2017 @ 5:49pm
In the XComLW_Overhaul.ini I see a tag 'Infinite=false' attached to most of the weapons. Wouldn't it be possible to just change this to true? Eh, what do I know...
Chapter Serf 13 Feb, 2017 @ 11:47am
Is it possible to seperate the armors? I've already got plate armor for my troops, but I have yet to see the mission for SPARKs pop yet, so I can't mass produce the plate armor.

Also, can you add nanomedkits? Since apparantly we have to have seperate medkits in this game instead of just a simple upgrade.
The Rabbit42 13 Feb, 2017 @ 7:10am
Only critique I can give is that this mod should return to vanilla rules when after upgrading armor or weapons the squads should automatically equip those items.

Also set the quantity to infinite like in vanilla. Researching the mass production in the proving grounds just gives you 100 of that item. You can easily go to the black market and sell the items for supplies. Almost makes this mod a "show me the money" cheat.
Wash Manblast 12 Feb, 2017 @ 6:06pm
what is the trigger for the projects in the proving ground? i've researched mag and pred armor on a new save and it isn't showing up
Brian (The Schmaltzy Cynic) 11 Feb, 2017 @ 8:49pm
There are squad upgrades. Instead of limiting you by an arbitrary number, LW2 allows you to balance the infiltration time, enemy bonus, etc. vs. the amount you can bring. Upgrades increase the efficiency of your infiltration, and thus letting you take more units on harder missions.
regloh70 11 Feb, 2017 @ 2:56am
@Legion Prime: Yeah im with you on that. No squad upgrades was not a good decision.
They could give us an option to do so with ajusted prices and such.
You know a simple checkbox in the option menu. That would be great because i really don't like
how it is now.
Lord Bubba 10 Feb, 2017 @ 6:16pm
Does this mod allow us to mass produce an item, or does the LW2 code prevent that where we're producing one item painstakingly one at a time?
Chapter Serf 9 Feb, 2017 @ 8:43am
I'd also like the Squad Upgrade back, but this seems the closest thing. It'll work.
Chapter Serf 8 Feb, 2017 @ 8:58pm
If I'm reading this right, and I hope I am, does this mod remove the need to buy 1 individual Laser Rifle, 1 individual Predator Armor, 1 individual you get the point... And make it as close to Vanilla XCOM2's one-lump sum everyone gets better gear as possible?
Wash Manblast 7 Feb, 2017 @ 7:17pm
do i need to restart a campaign for this to take effect?
ferret 7 Feb, 2017 @ 1:32am
I got the mass produced plated armor as soon as i loaded this, in fact it is the only option I have used, as i like having to do weapons one at a time, but armor was too much.
I think it requires a certain number of engineers or scientists to show up.
In case it make a difference, i started the game with staff and economy boosters, so they should not make a difference.
texasgoldrush 6 Feb, 2017 @ 6:40pm
Its fixed for me, thanks
texasgoldrush 5 Feb, 2017 @ 10:14pm
I get advanced laser weapons mass production well before I researched them and I am not getting plated armor mass production.
pokie6 5 Feb, 2017 @ 2:45pm
I have the same issue as Pully in one campaign. I started another with some cheats for resources, scientists and engineers and none of the mass production options showed up.
4p8ckabs 5 Feb, 2017 @ 1:54pm
Hey is anyone else having a problem with mass producing plated armors?
Kaerius 5 Feb, 2017 @ 1:35pm
I found a bug. I can mass produce advanced lasers before I've even researched laser tech.
texasgoldrush 5 Feb, 2017 @ 1:32pm
There is an exploit to where you can sell most of the weapons back to the black market for a huge supply boost.
Pully 4 Feb, 2017 @ 1:53pm
Very useful mod for Long War 2, I dislike the inability to mass upgrade Assault -> Laser -> etcetera

The armour mass produce don't seem to exist for me, I've unlocked all the non dlc armour research and still can't seem to produce any. Just stook at individually and expensively makine 1 piece at a time.
LAJ-47FC9 3 Feb, 2017 @ 4:26pm
You're incredible. Thank you so much!
zerogoki 2 Feb, 2017 @ 5:29pm
Any Idea how to to get "squad upgrates" for weapons and armor back
GEIST 1 Feb, 2017 @ 10:39am
Any idea how the same thing could be done with weapon upgrades (laser sights, scopes, etc.)? The proving grounds project for mass-producing those are nice in concept, but you have to sacrifice three of one tier and then pay some more money to make those three of that tier only back. It's pretty awful in terms of investment.
RealityMachina  [author] 31 Jan, 2017 @ 9:55pm
meyerik: LW_Overhaul.ini, search for ItemTable
meyerik 31 Jan, 2017 @ 8:15pm
"Is it possible to be able to modify it so that we can make a reasonable set number of items at a time? Like 5 or 10 at a time?"

Thats a great idea, I think 2-4 is a good amount

So when I buy my "first" laser rifle for 20 supplies, I actually get 4 of them

Ugh... Actually reading that back to myself now, could just make the rifles cost 5 supplies, does anyone know where the INI is to edit that myself
Grimahlnik 31 Jan, 2017 @ 8:11pm
How much do would one of these cost Resource-Wise? As much as the Upgrade was in Vanilla?
Cheh3x 31 Jan, 2017 @ 6:25pm
Is it possible to be able to modify it so that we can make a reasonable set number of items at a time? Like 5 or 10 at a time? It'll be good for those who still want some challenge resource-wise.
Arkhangel 31 Jan, 2017 @ 5:30pm
what i'd kinda like is a "halfway" bit, like, say, being able to make enough to outfit 8-12 guys in a batch. not overboard, but still limited.
Flik the Changeling 31 Jan, 2017 @ 4:32pm
XD I understand the part so well where you see how much unecessary work would be there to make so better skip it and still do the goal of the mod. This will be good mod to have after I beat the firt vanilla long war. Thanks for making those mods ^^
