oi have a dillema...so i dont ruin peoples saves, i can leave it as is, but i dont want to keep bugs in. should i leave it or update it and damn hundreds of saves to hell

hey there. The Shadowstrike perk still stays on after concealment is gone. A problem solver, for sure, but a bug nonetheless lol will it be repaired? thkz!

Why do they have heavy ordinance? "The grenade in your grenade-only slot gains a bonus use."

But they don't have a grenade-only slot.

So I found a mod that will let me edit the gun without needing the SDK.. Although, can someone please tell me the template name for the SMR???

No go with making things ini edittable?? :)

My problem Witt was trying to load up someone elses mod and get it working..

I really wanted to learn the SDK because there's a tonne of little adjustments I'd love to make!

Nah, if you check almost all other mods that have weapons, in the config file they'll have an ini that you can edit the weapon.. I don't have the SDK anymore because I could never understand it.

But just wanting to change the clip size, piercing, and mods that are attached to it.. Thanks anyway :)

@Col Jack O'Neil: You might be able to edit the file X2Item_Weapon.uc. It's located here:

..steamapps\workshop\content\268500\854730463\Src\TheMedicalMarksmanLongWar2Edition\Classes

I haven't tried it, but it icontains the following:

Can you please let everything about the SMR be configurable in the ini files??? I don't like the idea of it having 7 rounds in a clip :)

Your'e not taking out the medkits are u? Just swapping from threat assesment to aid protocol which is actually very good fort this class.

I've given him aid protocol as a squadie skill just to test threat assessment (it's on a different machine so I can't be certain I will reach that rank today), another solution might be to have aid protocol at that rank instead of threat assessment. I'm definitely enjoying this class mod though, keep up the good work :)

At the beginning it is a little OP especially with DFA (serial every turn) is what I was saying, also tested run and gun which allows for 3 shots

Well you get 2 shots with the rifle, the other rifles upgrade but the medical marksman gets 2 shots, and if u change ammo the damage goes up quite a bit. Also the medical marksman can move and shoot that's a bonus late in the game especially in LW2. Not sure how this sniper is OP no sword, pistol, not even a hunter sniper just med kits and a single action rifle.

First thoughts, the SMR is awesome at the very begining (basically a better sniper rifle) however after laser tech becomes below average and I can only assume it will get worse as the tiers go on. Also the perk THREAT ASSESSMENT doesn't work most likely due to the lack of aid protocol which is a pity (I may have to retrain and I've been making them my officers due to their abilities being non turn ending). Overall I really like it but I think they might be a little OP at the start and I'm getting the impression they will be extremely outclassed towards the end damage wise (unless I switch him to a real sniper rifle at which point he's a DFA sniper with medical abilities).

Loving the class. Great job!

I did have a thought, a completely unnecessary and entirely cosmetic/fluff one. You're giving the class a rifle that's just as bulky, if not more so, as a regular sniper rifle yet firing only uses one action.

So here's the thought, What about the DMR from Spart's Kitbashes?

Either way, probably the best class add-on for LW2 hands down.

i am certain snipers can also use it, it does not replace sniper rifle, it can be usede in adition to it

so, its a single gun, meant for all tiers, but does not have a seperate one for each tier

Or just use LW2s Snap Shot. What would be really cool is if you could use the rifle to heal your allies and damage enemies, and throw healing greanades. Like a certain mature lady in another game I know.
