Hey IDK if this would be too much but maybe the Opium pipes with smoke effects. Like I have one of the old pipes from the 1940s and earlier. Just wondering.

Also while I am bothering you about this, have you considered modifying the price to heroin? While I now agree with you that opium should be in higher demand then morphine or codeine for its recreational value (while codeine and morphine have superior medical applications) heroin is still kind of a loss for the materials invested. Though I admit whenever I'm feeling like a bastard I'll make some and sell it to visitors with the Chemical Interest trait to see if they'll overdose and drop all their stuff. >_>

The mod works fine as is on a17. It threw some errors on the initial load up of the game but I have been using it without any issues

@jpinard The mod only adds new defs, doesn't edit old ones so its fine to enable it in a game that you didn't start with the mod enabled.

Miss Bones - I don't think you should look at real life for the price scheduling. Rimworld is different as drugs are I think legal throughout all the colonies. So you should definitely keep with the same pricing schemes in the game as Tynan already used for continuity (I think).

Also, can I enable this mod when I have a colony 3 years in or will it not work properly? I think 2 of my colonists may be in need of pain medicine if things keep going downhill due to plague and raids in my current game.

There is one problem with the consistency with a lot of these mods. If you're addicted to one, you're addicted to all of them. An opiate addiction can be satisfied with any other opiate based drug. Can you implement an opiate addiction in place of a separate addiction for all four of them?

@Omega13 That was intentional, seeing the prices of normal painkillers vs. recreational drugs IRL. Also makes buying pain killers off traders a bit easier. Though heroin should be higher than opium, I will look into that.

This is a really cool mod and fills the current void where the vanilla game has a lack of any good painkillers (smokeleaf is decent but doesn't really do the job). The poppies look really nice, too. I did notice, however, when I was trading with a caravan that, considering the opium is needed to produce morphine or codeine, raw opium is pound for pound worth a lot more silver than any of the refined goods it produces, which seems a little backwards.

There was not a lot of drugs mods here...
specially with stuff like morphine and stuff like that...
I am happy to have a competitor.
