this work with WOTC? anyone know I know it's ridiculous to be asking if a mod works on this game's dormant? modding community, please take my take with a grain salt, I actually don't know how dormant/active the XCOM 2 modding community is, I just recently got into the game myself almost a month ago

Does this mod contain tracks from Opposing Force?

I take it I should use this instead of the Half-life 2 soundtrack mod?

Perfection.

Eon Trap is such a good song though.

Does this work with Mod Config and other soundtracks? I’d like to mix this in with other stuff.

I wanted to say that I LOVE this pack. It does tend to overwhelm my other music packs in tactical (even with mix-in-indifferent turned on), I need to go in and tweak the inis a bit. Still, it fits really really well, especially in explore mode.

Does this mod include Black Mesa source music? I know some tracks there that would be good here as well.

@Bobbers Ok, it's Eon Trap then. Obviously can't do much about the song, so you'll have to remove it.
Go to "...\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\857624489\Config" and open "XComTacticalSound.ini".

Scroll down to the section titled "Rooftops", and under "Combat" replace "XLoopCue="HalfLifeEpisodeCombat.EonTrapLoop_Cue")" with another song of your choice.

You can see all the combat songs in that file, for example "XLoopCue="HalfLifeEpisodeCombat.SectorSweepLoop_Cue")". I'd recommend this one since the only other area it plays in are the wildnerness plots.

It played during the Lost Towers mission, but it's definitely not Hard Technology Rock.

@Bobbers Different tracks play in different areas. Which area did that track play in? I have a feeling it is Hard Technology Rock from Half-Life 1's soundtrack, so look it up and confirm. I'll tell you how to remove it if that's the one.

Also, it's not a bug or anything, it's part of the track. I looked through the Half Life 2 Soundtrack as well as that of EP 1 and 2 and couldn't find out what the track is called.

I like this a lot but one of the combat tracks has a part in it where it plays white noise that drones on for a while (sounds similar to tinnitus) that hurts my head, ESPECIALLY during longer encounters.

So, wake up, Mr. Freeman... Wake up and smell the ashes...

Plot of XCOM 2: We bring back a guy who pretty much liberates Earth in less than a year.

Plot of Half Life 2: We bring back a guy who pretty much liberates Earth in less than a year.

Oh my...

@No.
Goto "...Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\857624489\Config" and look in "XComTacticalSound.ini". You'll see what songs play where.
