Unfortunately, I can let you know that this is true of hundreds, perhaps, thousands of buildings today in Cities Skylines. Thats why CS simulator is more of a 'beautiful looks' 3D program to me than a simulation. I play Simcity 5 (that's the 2013) which works with 100% of buildings today. But I do still love... Cities Skylines.

I dont think it works anymore because even though my game sees it as a hospital noone uses it :( i love this asset as its beautiful and used it many times i feel sad that it doesnt function

If possible do you know how long Senfkorn has been inactive here? We can probably figure out if permissions were given. If they were away for more than a year it's highly unlikely that the permissions to use the model were given.

I wouldn't no, but unfortunately copyright takedowns on steam outside of the workshop require the author or an attorney/IP holder acting on their behalf to file. I would check the credits but idk what his rn is. I'll see if I can find anything in the mod discord and the C:S discord if I catch a chance

@Exsosus|Cryo| - I customized all the spawn points to separate out ambulances, other vehicles, and added two medical helicopter spawn/unspawn points with Building Spawn points. Haven't tested the copters (forgot to notice one), but it works great so far. I can share a screenshot later. The medical helicopters will actually always land on the road - even for the vanilla hospitals, despite CO including a marker in the asset editor. I think the medical center *might* work, but I wouldn't be surprised if they pickup in street, drop off in street, sadly.

As far as I know this buidling does not work with a medical helicopter landing outside of it. This is fine as this is a building intended to add atmosphere to your city.

@RoliTheOne, this I've come to realize after some time, it is a beautification add-on to your city, much like parks or bridges. It creates an atmosphere which is kind to the eyes, but does not work the same as a normal hospital. The way this works in my mind, is if you look at a real life university hospital, many of them, do not function the same as a normal city hospital does. Just wanted to say, this is one of my favorite assets I've downloaded. Very cool building, and I love how it goes across the road. (This was the first time I ever saw a building do that.)

1) Don't put buildings there, unless you want to (e.g., Block Services, invisible spawn points)
2) -or- Make a local copy of the asset that has a basic 2-way road built-in, but use Touch This! to change the network when desired

Hey there. I notice that the section that crosses the roads does not show as an actual building and so meshes with sorrounding buildings.

I really love this assets. Do you plan to make a larger version(or modular pack connecting various parts...or different parts like children hospital) in similar style? As the campus DLC has come, in which the "medical school" is much larger than current one. :)

@Benji - good way to test hospitals!
- Build medical helicopters [DLC: Natural Disasters]; they can only land at Hospitals IIRC
- intentionally pollute your Cims water supply (Lazurus project, anyone?)
- noise pollution
- ground pollution

RE: My last comment, it wasn't so much a problem with the hospital as it was a 'problem' with my city. tons of clinics, pools, eldercare and childcare. The hospital never got patients because there just weren't enough of them. After removing a few of them I found the hospital working fine. Thanks again for the wonderful asset. :D:

I absolutely adore this and even take the time to setup invisible pathways for the skybridge. I use TM:PE to ban all but emergency vehicles and service vehicles on one side on the connecting road and up the speed limit, and setup an adjacent network for regular vehicles, and use a NexT small 2 way / oneway on the other skybridge. Is the "connected building" designed to connect to another asset, like your UST? It kindof looks like it could - and that'd be totally cool - but I usually just give it dedicated space with invisible pedestrian routes in various directions

@Amonkey5 Hi, yeah I was cheating a bit. The lower edge of the annex building doesn't sit on the ground. I gave it a high of ~10cm as far as I remember. So the annex is hovering slightly. In the end the asset editior thought the annex building is only an overlapping object. You can see it ingame. You know the ruined texture that surrounds all kinds of objects, right (vanilla settings)? It is missing at the annex.

Hello there, I am trying exactly the same structure in a 3D Model. But I cant define my point of origin xyz axis (0/0/0). This means my asset would never overlap over a street beause asset editor makes the overlapping part next to the street - Clear so far I hope - my question is how to define the point of origin in the middle of an asset.

I may be wrong but I think this is the first hospital I've found that looks like any hospital I've ever been to. All of the ones I've ever been to have been expanded so much they look like someone kitbashed together four different building models while drunk off their butt.

If you have the time and inclination, with Campus out, designing a Medical School, Dorm, and Laboratory that could be modular to build a bigger medical campus would be epic.
