This mod now contains a map ns2_origin_dev with new changes to reduce the size of the map.
The Alien winrate on this map varies between 47-56% depending on the filters chosen for the accounted games.
There are a lot of open areas and long line of sight spots in the map and the "clutter" was actually added so Hive-rooms don't end up being a shooting gallery.
I hope you'll have a better round on the map in the future, thanks for your feedback, I'll keep it in mind in case similar feedback pops up from other players :)

-Removed a few vents to improve some areas for Marines
-Added more location/direction signs through out the map to make it easier to find your way
-Rebuild Xenoform Research; more of a straight corridor to reduce travel time between Skylights and Shipping and a better visual theme to improve orientation for players
-Changes around the Ore Extraction - Cargo area to improve orientation for players
-Removed vent exit into Cargo coming from the Ore Extraction - Coolant vent
-Reduced travel time to/from Laser Drilling by moving it closer to Marine Start (Control)
MADE THE MAP MORE ALIEN FRIENDLY
New Res node layout:
-Added Ventilation Access location and res node between Biodome and Ventilation
-Added res node in Ore Extraction between Furnace and Ventilation
-Removed one res node in Cargo (former double-res);
might remove the other node, too, but I want this room to have some action.
-Added more cover and ambush spots around the map..more coming
-Occlusion Geometry fixes
-Fixed Cooling Monitoring Location Entity being called Generator
-Sunlights and lavalights ignore powergrid now
-More details and lights in Ore Scanner and more detailing in general
-Updated Minimap (orange vents too)
-More commander view clean ups (removed all the door frame props)
-Added more pipes to furnace for alien cover
