ok... i have a VERY noob question, how do i "upgrade the tier 1 bench to tier 2" i'm on my small shack in Blister Hill.

i'm fairly new to the game so i just need to know what key to press and where to click.

Great mod when you start in a city, BUT it s a shame that normal workbenches cant be built in their normal look.

An actual godsend of a mod it is absolutely a must if you are starting in the city.

This mod + interior constructs (small iron/steel stations,etc) make long term city living viable and can avoid base building completely if you want. Camping advanced adds some low yield planters so you could even farm a bit before getting to Hydroponics. This mod is a must.

Great mod. Suggestion. make it so the amount of operators = bench level, so as you increase the level you can have more operators researching at the same time

now all i need is to make a tiny variation and give this a large storage space i.e. 500/1k per item aaand my kenshi life will be complete muhahahahaha think of all that raw/dried/foul meat i can store

This is an underrated mod. Good work!

@Dodgy Scotsam I went to the area you described with this mod installed and no matter what i did I was not able to experience a crash; perhaps it was another mod causing issues? or perhaps it was just a random crash that kenshi does every now and then. Either way I would not know for certain what happened unless the crashlog was posted, maybe i didn't dig deep enough when testing. However I can confirm this does not crash the game even when loading in existing research benches, hell even the npcs there continued working on the downsized bench.

this will be handy, as with the bigger benches it's really hard fitting just 2 benches in a long house due to the size of them

Stack is about the only city I've found so far with only a shack available, all the others have better. Not disagreeing with this mod mind you.

@Aerik and @Wraith, that is true but not every City is like that. Stack only has shacks for example, and even if you use one whole shack for the Level 2 Research bench, it will not fit. For how I play @Bizwaf's mod was very much needed.

Aerik is right, The Hub and shek kingdom areas usually have every other building available.

There are more than 'small shacks' that you can buy in cities, but I really like the upgrade from tier 1 to tier 2.
