simple and elegant.

Great use of funnels and flings to circumvent the fizzlers.

Amazing puzzle. If this map were dinner I'd ask for seconds. I would gorge myself on this chamber and be featured on "my 600lb life" within 1 week. It's THAT good. Can't wait for the hammer version (ha....ha). Thanks for mapping.

My blind run

Really pleased I replayed this one 2 years on - as Mikeastro said: "Really, really elegant."

Hammer version when?

@quaternary @Nobody No-One
All right, you two quipster - it is really not necessary to update :steamhappy::steammocking::steamhappy:
Nobody No-One 13 Feb, 2019 @ 12:01pm
You can also noclip to the exit. I think you need to edit the map to prevent that.

Of course portal bumping is possible. You can also funnel fly to the end if you want.
lapicidas 13 Feb, 2019 @ 2:13am
clever, thumbs up.
Although portal bumping is possible.

I played this map earlier this year and didn't comment. Just replayed it. Very fun map indeed. Thumbs up.

Very nice map with clever logic. Big thumb up!
Mikeastro 7 Dec, 2018 @ 11:30am
Really, really elegant - now I see why @Joric was so hyped about this one. Took me about 15 mins but I enjoyed every second. Faved

My 1 minute: https://youtu.be/Ze8HUt5hukA one of the best maps and quaternary is the best mapmaker ever.

Brilliant puzzle and great use/reuse of element; thumbs up and added to favourites. I had no problem understanding the OR gate, so perhaps the description didn't state it prior to Mar 2017.

Super cool map, totally forgot about the portalable panel upstairs.

I really liked this puzzle, and I like the Squarepusher reference. When are you going to do one titled Journey to Reedham [7am mix] ? :D
quat  [author] 13 Mar, 2017 @ 11:09am
Thanks. I'm planning on remaking this map in Hammer and I figured out if I make the wall button into a floor button, and then place a wall behind it, the solution is the same and there's no OR gate.
hestia.is.bestia 13 Mar, 2017 @ 6:50am
The or gate was a bit confusing at first, you might want to use laser relays to make it a bit clearer. Excellent map though. I don't understand the low rating.
BehindPortal 10 Mar, 2017 @ 3:11am
OOhhh what a chamber. figured out after i tried jump from glass floor. whoop. not easy one.

:D
dire.fcs 14 Feb, 2017 @ 9:40pm
Nice one, the OR gate confused me in the beggining (I didn't red the description ..), nice little map to make in hammer, good luck.
jandlml 12 Feb, 2017 @ 7:19pm
excellent map! i love maps that make me think for a while and go ahh thats it. thanks keep them coming
jgaultney 12 Feb, 2017 @ 8:11am
Nice one, quat. Thumbs up and favorited!
quat  [author] 11 Feb, 2017 @ 3:20pm
Yeah, I did - The main problem is that if it's only a wall button you can't start the map, and if it's only a floor button you can throw the cube through the hole in the glass. In hammer I was able to add a physics clip so cube throwing fails

So much fun! That OR-gate seems wierd though. When you remake the map in hammer, you can try to find a way to use only one button.
quat  [author] 11 Feb, 2017 @ 5:17am
Mmmm idgaf about portal bump :D But I guess I'll fix it, just for you
Rector 11 Feb, 2017 @ 2:08am
Hey hey nice one! Just remember not to remake this .

Thumbs up!
quat  [author] 10 Feb, 2017 @ 7:51pm
I'm going to remake this map in Hammer soon :B1:
