Also, it would make the 'return to earth' mod easier
You could check which modded items are in the shop and figure out which mod they come from; or you can just go into admin mode and spawn this mod's item directly
/admin
/spawnitem bookmarquestaddon
/admin
Thanks.
Would you prefer if
- abandonning the quest would also make the Memento Mori stop remembering where you died, or
- the quest would only pop again once you're on the surface of the world where you died, and only actually disappear once you go there (or if you die again somewhere else), but removing the quest will keep it away for as long as you don't go to that world (That's how it works with the"vanilla" Memento Mori, I believe)?
Thanks!

Skull in hand, I'm at the death location, no quest.

Abandoned the quest to mark it. Quest is still a generic bookmarker quest and not actually pointing to the death location, or at least, not "saying" it's a death location. (Yes I know this would be pointless to do anyway if it did work, but since it isn't...)
add server name or ip with coordinates
add a new window at right side of completed window for not put this together with vanilla quests from the game
sorry for my bad english
It was the "Drop Further Before Damage" mod!
If you didn't tell me they changed fatal damage, I would never have guessed it was this mod that bugged everything.
Now that I removed everything works fine! Lasers, memento mori and your mod :)
It works better than I imagined, thank you so much
Now I'll try to identify the mod and I'll let you know as soon as I find it ^^
About the Memento Mori not working, are you somehow running an older version of Starbound? The way fatal damages is handled changed in 1.2 (current version is 1.2.2), and the memento mori was changed to work with it, but your log shows your game handles it the older way. Sadly you cropped the part where it mentions the version
Well the idea of backtracking your death location is not a concept so original, so imho if you did it standalone there would be no problems.
Here's the log: http://pastebin.com/GMDN4txE
You said the Memento Mori wasn't working for you, so it might not work here either since I tied that functionality with it? If it indeed doesn't, please drop a comment, and if you don't mind I'd be interested in more details (what doesn't work exactly, and a pastebin of your starbound.log (can be found in the "storage" folder in starbound's folder) after dying then going to the world you died (you can probably do that on a new character, /admin, /spawnitem mementomori, /spawnmonster poptop 100))
Also, as was said before, could you add a bookmark when the player dies (maybe that goes away when you reach it)? I Have Frackin Races and Memento Mori doesn't work.
any chance you could create a bookmark when the player dies on survival mode?
Unless you wanted the *quest tracker* (the thingy on top left) to show the distance even if you're not on the right world, then no, that's not possible (as of now).
