Report a translation problem
I recorded some .dem files to show what I did. Framerate is horrible (4-5 fps for me) but they still get the point across, I think. I doubt anyone else is going to have the patience to do this, so you probably won't have to update again, but it was satisfying to accomplish.

I spent a few minutes looking up synonyms of both words. Model showed up for both; so I think I see why you call them synonyms. I absolutely adored Shipmistress Chol Von.

@| \_/ () I know you can shoot a portal to the bridge area from there, but as you said, it doesn't help with the solution so I decided to ignore it.
The panel itself is just to block the surface and yes, to force the intended solution of getting over to the button island. It's also there as a trap prevention so if you shoot both portals on the button island, you can just funnel back to the bridge area.
I lowered the glass in the update so I hope that removed the other ways to get there.
I don't think that panel does anything in the solution. I'm guessing it's to make the player get to that island properly the first time, but there are more than one ways to do that. Also, what's the point if I can use it the second, third, fourth time, etc.?
Those are the things that looked broken, otherwise the chamber is pretty cool, idea and all.
