Can you please make a voice pack for Nihlus Kryik?

Really clever idea for a voice mod. Good work! It should pair well with the Palaven (create-a-Turian) mod.

@Drako: btw, the effect you want for Turians? i did some research, that natural "hum" to their voices is called a "Flange" or "Flanging". might help if there's an option to do so in whatever sound-modding program you use.

@Drako, well anyway thanks for your work :)

@Drako: ah.

@Shaggoth hey change of plans. The second voicebank I had lined up isn't working out too well (It will take longer than a week to get it ready). So, I'll just release the voicebank that is already done either tomorrow or over the weekend and then just update in the second voicebank when it is ready

@Arkhangel I'm sorry, I think I'm being unclear or I'm confusing what you're saying, let me clarify. If I apply the Salarian audio effect to a female voice line, it either sounds no different than the original or it sounds chipmunky. As an example, the Rikku lines would sound chipmunky if I ran it through the Salarian audio effect. However, I do agree with you that higher sounding voicepacks, like the Rikku one, do make for a good alternative for female Salarian voices in-game.
Arkhangel 9 Mar, 2017 @ 6:52pm
eh.... well, as i said, you can always just use some of the higher-voiced voicepacks. Rikku's voicepack works well, even an immersion version in it that removes any use of her name.

@Arkhangel yeah the problem I'm having with Salarian females is that either they don't sound different from the original voice line (so why even bother) or they sound too chipmunky (which is annoying to listen to in-game and while putting the pack together). Personally, I just headcannon it that the Elders stole all the Salarian females and that's why the Salarian males are fighting so hard =D.

@Drako: Rikku from FF7 actually works pretty well as a younger Salarian gal. prob is we never really got to meet any who weren't Dalatrasses, which essentially were all really old salarian women.

@Shaggoth I think I found another voicebank that would go good with the salarian effect so just wait a little while longer (a week tops) and I should have a salarian sounding voicepack to release. Just FYI, it will be two male voices though.

Salarians please? :)

I was hoping someone would do this but I didn't ever think it would happen. Thank you so much!

My pleasure. I'd honestly suck at making mods myself, but I'm pretty good at figuring out ideas to improve 'em. and this one is still pretty good currently for Rogue ADVENT, 'bot or Helmeted Turians. it's just getting that right amount of "natural hum" for the off-helmeted ones.
DrakoEye  [author] 12 Feb, 2017 @ 6:29pm
@Arkhangel thanks for the feedback. I probably won't get around to fixing this pack until after the drell one, but I will definitely consider your advice.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

thanks for this its really appreciated.

Thank you so much, i been thinking about doing this myself, but i have no moding experience.
Arkhangel 12 Feb, 2017 @ 6:02pm
the less synth bit for turians, anyways, Jek's right on the money for other stuff... specially for voicing that new "Fixer" Cyborg class we just got, or Rogue ADVENT.
Arkhangel 12 Feb, 2017 @ 6:01pm
tiny bit less synth and i think it'd be perfect. but it's workable :) Turians have a bit more of a "natural hum," slightly synthetic sounding here i think simply due to the amount it's been synthed.. that being said, probably perfect for helmeted Turians :D

This is actually really neat. I've got a squad of female soldiers equiped with Tac-masks, MGS4 Frog Armor, Advent Half Trophy Helmets, white hair and glowing eyes+Crystalid Face paint, and the distorted voice fits perfectly for the theme of geneteically engineered/mutant soldiers. Really helps sell that alien feel (no pun intended).

Nicely done.
