"Captain of the White Ship" and "The white ship" are also part of Murasa's signature items (but renamed to Palanquin Ship) and have the same effects, so they can be used interchangeably.
The last two unknown cards still MIA.
This is all info from crossrefereincing the titles with events that use them and then the original DW expansion cards:
"The White Ship" and "Captain of the White Ship" are both corresponding the the cards with the same names from the Kingsport expansion.
"Boundry Guide" i assume is the equivalent to the "Railway Pass" from the Dunwich Horror expansion.
"Eientei's Favor" corresponds to Darke's Blessing. Also from the same expansion.
"Mutagen Released" and "Remote Access Interface" however i'm still trying to find equivalents for.
If anyone knows what their effects might be i'd love to know.
Things disappear into the table at times, primarily clue and stamina tokens, you can still pick them up but you can't see them.
The special cards for the expansion don't load, saying error unknown type, it's the "Eientei's Favor", "Boundry Guide" etc. cards.
And I think it will take a while for me to translate the most encounter cards by myself.
Now Investigator, Signature Item, Exhibit, Allies, Game board I'm done.
I think I might have the text for the expansion encounter cards in a spreadsheet. Would that help?
Okay. Thank you.
If it's the former for the base game cards: I don't know for sure. I didn't write them. I think they roughly corrispond. The expansion cards are the same except I had to pad them out with new cards (mostly drawn from the homebrew expansions) to hit the 25 count. Both sets of cards have changed names and locations.
If it's the latter, there are small changes but they're mostly the same.
@Shitpost Chen: Huh, your right. Thank you for bringing this to my attention
@illi: Probably too late, but feel free to do translate this if you want. If you need any help or assets feel free to ask.
@nemid: Grimoire of Alice is currently part of the Hifuu Club Book Collection which is currently added by Renko Usami. If you want to I think you could replace a unique item and $2 and give Alice the Grimoire of Alice without changing her power too much.
Sorry again and thank you everybody for being interested in my mod. ^^
I want to enjoy this game.
However, it is difficult for me to play games in English every time.
If possible, I would like to translate it into my language and enjoy this game.
Can I translate this into my own language?
Just one question: There are some signature items, like Grimoire of Alice, where the obvious person who would get them (Alice) does not have it listed on their starting equipment. Is this a bug, or is there another way to get these cards I'm missing?
Anyways, great job on the mod! it's incredible!
There's also Ma○chi which is an ally that's hidden in the box. She's a guest character from To Heart that appears in one of the PC-98 games and ZUN censored her name and appearance, probably because he didn't ask for permission to use her.
The more you know!
Also the paradox of having an Investigator facing herself is only one of the reasons I cut the Touhou Ancients out. It's been a while so I forgot most of the reasons I didn't put them in but crashing, file size, and frame rate were more practical concerns that led to their removal. Ultimatly though, I didn't like the idea of having the touhou's destroying Gensokyo and since putting them in would take at least a solid month of work: I decided not to include them. The point of the mod is to port Touhou's into Arkham horror and I personally thought that Touhou Ancients did not help the theme so I didn't spend the time to work on them.
Also the Necronomicon is canon within Gensokyo so the Mythos in Gensokyo is hardly out of question. :)
(besides, this is freakin' Gensokyo mixed with the freakin' Mythos. The term of "paradox" seems a bit arbitrary when you consider the above )
Are the for specific characters, or do you get them from encounters... What do?
I'm probably overthinking this. Anyways, I'm excited to see what the next update brings. You definitely put a lot of work into this.
Part of it is that having an Investigator face herself as the Ancient One is weird and that is the paradox I was referring to. However, there is also the fact that having a Touhou as an ancient one doesn't really fit thematically since the Ancient Ones are trying to kill the Investigators and destroy Gensokyo; which doesn't really fit with the MO of most of the characters.
