Thanks! The glow parts are just handled with an emissive map. Which is just a black texture except for the spots that glow.

Looks amazing though, seems like you spent hours, I wouldnt say get rid of it, I'd say retexture a few things and try again, its too good to goto waste because now something in the future will be accepted VERY relative to what you have goin on and it'll piss you off lmao. Also, how did you get certain areas to "glow" so to speak?

Yeah after reading, sounds like that's exactly right. I've just come to terms it's not going in. That's alright. If I get inspired to make anything else I will. Thanks for all the support anyhow!

Looks to "modern" and "new", needs some scratchy/grungy/worn out textures, RUSTmins want weapons that fit perfectly into the game. If they accept too many weapons and armors like these, then half of RUST will be filled with small LED's everywhere & flat matte colored items haha. Really good job though! Very creative imo.

Well i have to agree with some of the commentors who gave their opinion about this not being rust themed. But it is true after all it is a sci-fi futuristic type. But i do honor you for the hard work you putted into this. Keep up the good work my friend.

I'm not offended at all. I'm just asking a question. Seems like skins are all over the place so I was just stating that it doesn't seem like a theme or anything is in place. You have a raw turkey for a rock skin for example. ;P

It looks awesome, but like all skins that have glowing light effects-- they make you easy to spot at night so they are a bad idea and I'd never use them. Very nice work but you should make a version that does not have glowing lights on it.

@LegitG, I used some inspiration from the latest Dredd movie you can see some elements brought in from his gun. Otherwise, I just come up with stuff that I think could look cool. I'm definitely not a bottomless pit of ideas. lol. I am a game artist by trade, so I do this kind of stuff pretty frequently. That helps. haha.

Thanks for the input. I'm just going to leave it in as originally designed. I'll take it out if the Devs want it out, but seeing how other guns have done it and have been added to the game, I don't think they will have a problem with it.

@author if you're scared they won't add it, don't include the red dot on my account haha. Believe me, I love it with the red glow. But, it is true that there's a chance they won't add it because of that red dot. But seriously, great work with the skin. I hope it does get added, I and my friends will be purchasing it.

You're right @Rusy Penny, I checked out that pistol and it does have the glow, I was worried the devs might poo poo it. I'll keep it in, haha. Just cause I like it more like that :D

I disagree with the removal of the Red Glow, as the "Golden Leaf SAP" skin ALSO has green iron sights does it not? I think the red glow completes this pistol and shouldn't be removed. Definitely good job though.
