I like it a lot!

Did you maybe think about modding Null Void weapons? I modified the code of this mod for my personal use, changed to the purple color for Null Void weapons, but maybe you could make even more voidy effect!

I don't think it works with achievements since I needed to change a graphics code file (not actual art file)

This is a good lookin mod, I didn't like that the extradimensional disco bois didn't get a unique effect for their weapons so thanks! My question before I add this to my games is this compatible with ironman for achievements?

does this include the null void beam which looks so bad i refuse to use it even though it makes shields look like wet paper

I'll check it out of this still works. It's a minor edit of the FX files. I just haven't had the unbidden in my games for a while so never noticed if it no longer works.

Hi Guilliman,
Been playing Stellaris a lot recently in the hype for federations. Your expanded tech mods have really added to the replay ability of the game. For that I thank you lots. I was wondering though if you were planning on perhaps updating this mods at all soon as I don't think it works anymore.

Like you said in the description of this mod I myself find the vanilla graphics for this weapon type weird for what it is.

If not, alternatively how much of an effort do you think it would be for a newbie to update this personally themselves for their own use?

Is there/could there be a version that also updates the effects for the energy siphon and the null void beam? They all use the same effect, I believe.

Well, after examining this as if a guide on how to do, i can say this is really fun. I have so many ideas for this game, so as i expand RIG, this type of mod is valuable as i learn.

Yes it should work fine. I'm a bit behind on updating the mod version numbers. Been a bit ill duo to the heat over here so only managed to push an update to another mod with bug fixes.

Hi Guilliman, I have a question. I really like how you re-made the extra dimensional weapon. I'd love to create my own graphic for the game's Mega Cannon (which shamefully still uses the same graphic as the ordinary shell cannon) and I wondered if I'd have your permission to use the code you used in combination with my own graphics to create a new Mega Cannon projectile. You'd ofcourse be fully credited. Do I have your permission for this?

Should work fine, this mod only overwrites the weapon values (effects etc) doesn't touch anything else.

i'm using this with zenith of fallen empires, which says it changes some of the vanilla codeing for the unbidden. Will this mod affect it in any way?

Also what is i'm using ISBS graphics which improves a lot of the graphics for the battles

@Peach Bloom - Not Gulli, but from what I've meddled around with Stellaris files and what other modders have said, it is impossible to attach weapons to a megastructure, as they are hardcoded objects by the looks of it. Yes, you can edit the tiles of habitats and that sort of thing and switch the spaceport variable on, however, you can't make it not act like exactly a planet just put in a different category - However, if you want a controllable Technosphere, New Ship Classes and More allows you to build one once you research it.

hey gulli i am quite enjoying your mods i had a idea from a book i have been reading about a race making a mobile battlestation a "battle globe" not star wars XD anyway i thought it would be a cool request? use the techosphere with a model of a huge base that could also count as a habitat or something in megastructers

Ah forgot to add the update text. I slighly slowed down projectile speed so the animation is smoother and slightly increased the size of the large weapon projectile effect.

Ah I see. The new graphics for level 2 and level 3 are not updated yet in my other mod. (I have a few other things comming too but they need some more testing). :)

but then this is what i have, 1 is using matter disintegrator, 1 is level 2 matter disintegrator, 1 is level 3 matter disintegrator, level 2 and 3 matter disintegrator doesn't change graphic
