hey my discord is SMC_SNIPER#3852 if you have any free time and want to teach me how you did this, i would greatly appreciate it! i know how to use sdk, im working on a map, but i still dont know how you edited a pre existing map thats in the game. anyways i left my discord bcuz i prolly wont see your response if you respond to this comment, but yeah BTW this map is fkin sick all my friends love it :)

@tords: Thanks man, yeah this map has been in the works for a month and a half, still a lot of work to go, I won't be releasing it until I am happy with it, which I never am happy with anything I make, so once I hit a design wall, that's when it'll be released.

Oh wow, I didn't realise you were actually planning on making a de_office. I'll be sure to follow you and play more of your maps in future, and always remember, take your time making maps and the players will wait. Don't rush any out. Keep up the good work

Yeah, more than likely Valve were working on this area, but there is an odd bug in suicide, so they likely gave up trying to make the area work, it still needs a bit of work, but as of right now, it's very playable with smokes and flashes

Genius. I thought that the fenced area near T-spawn doesn't really connect to pit but it is. Apparently, you made a new route for snipers in reaching Pit without getting seen.

It would be awesome to see this being added to the game, it's not much work to pull off either, well if you want to do what I did, then there is more work to be done, but the new pit is not exactly needed and was just something that I decided was a good idea.

@nightmareVC <19 Thank you for doing the video that is awesome, shame I don't understand it :P @Avernus I am planning to do more with pit, there is a few tactics that you can do to counter the awpers, the skybox for long doors has been opened, so it will be easier to throw smokes and the skybox for pit has been opened, I am also considering making pit walkway longer so that you can throw better smokes without being seen.

you need to litter the long area with boxes so it gives some protection against awpers otherwise its pretty good

Really great idea my dude. I had an idea to try and fix the reserve maps(office, italy, vertigo, etc..) because most of them are quite trash.

How would you suggest to do that, that may also make it so that the T's get to a position that looks at new pit better and get an even bigger advantage, however, if you can think of a way to do your suggestion, I will happily look in to it for you :)

good map man but might i sujest that you change something about T (CT on normal dust 2). Like make it connect to short or something.

Ah, I reckon it won't change too much, texture update mainly with some changes to areas that need changing, Pit needs working on and so do tunnels, this is just my oppinion is more than likely wrong :P

Yeah, i need to learn how to changle callouts, right now I think new T is call CT and new CT is called T, not sure :P

Yeah I am going to add some props, maybe a new route for an AWP'er, raise the floor so the gap is smaller and less T sided, that area needs a lot of work and that will be done with the redo of this map, the next update will have more stuff fixed in that area :)

New CT spawn or old CT spawn? also, I am having to rebuild the map again, since it has full blown bugged out due to revealing a bug in Valves map building, you'll notice the bug when running through new pit to CT, it's in suicide.
