To anyone having the downloading mods bug, its Keen's fault. They aren't updating the DLL's steam uses to download.

TLDR:
Solution found. keen you will need to hotfix 6 steam dll's in the DedicatedServer64 folder. In an updated copy of SteamCMD "C:\steamcmd\steamapps" in my case, the 6 dll's below need to be copied into the DedicatedServer64 directory, overwriting the older files.

steamclient.dll

steamclient64.dll

tier0_s.dll

tier0_s64.dll

vstdlib_s.dll

vstdlib_s64.dll

glad you fixed the issue :)
have a nice day

Space Engineers Dedicated Server was doing that when trying to acquire the mod earlier. I switched to TorchAPI and the problem went away. I think they may have some broken API calls baked into the dedicated server release at the moment.

@Bawls of Steel: can you provide more informations about that error? this error seems not mod related at all. the mod works for me fine local and dedicated.

Hey, no guarantee on this but my guess is since both mods use the same *.sbc file to overwrite you need to combine both mods to one with only one *.sbc file :) That should work.

This mod seems to have overwritten my ore detection range+ mod and now I am getting only the vanilla range. Any ideas on how I can run both?

Glad to hear that :) Have a nice day :)

All good :-) you directions to change drill were correct and worked :-) I used your mod so i could raise center up a bit. Dont want huge holes when drills. But i want it to clear drill when drills. I use automine script so it uses the drills vertically.. and when swing they some times get stuck. This mod helped me ffix that :-)
Teax  [author] 30 May, 2021 @ 3:24am
Yeah youre right :D My mistake, was a little bit in a hurry as it seems :D
Good that you clear that up :) Thanks

For others using this mod to see post below mines. "i use it to remember how to edit mods :-)" the mods folder is not in appdata. The workshop mods are in different folder. It is actually in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\865376293
244850 is space engineers game ID. 865376293 id MOD ID.

APPDATA will be where local mods will go :-)

Just to clear up any mix ups on location :-)

For singleplayer you can edit the mod settings to a bigger radius.
Unfortunately u cannot play online with mods that are local, you need to reupload those mods.
In the workshop are similiar mods with a bigger radius if u want a easy solution :)
Otherwise for the SP option just unzip my mod "865376293.sbm" into another Folder in the same directory and change the CubeBlocks file in the data file.
You need to change following settings and just double or triple it.

<SensorRadius>2.2</SensorRadius>
<SensorOffset>1.4</SensorOffset>
<CutOutRadius>2.2</CutOutRadius>
<CutOutOffset>1.2</CutOutOffset>

Mod directory "AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Mods"

Is there any way to edit this to make the radius even bigger?
Teax  [author] 20 Dec, 2020 @ 2:12pm
@robster20022002 - see the pictures above.
with the small drill its now 3 large blocks and with the large drill its about 4 large blocks.
robster20022002 5 Oct, 2020 @ 7:55am
whats the diameter of the hole made by 1 drill from this?
Uncle Urdnot 25 Feb, 2020 @ 4:09pm

WARLORD2306 16 Jan, 2020 @ 3:02pm
