There are leftover weapon entities in Portal 2 that can be repurposed, see the VDC article for weapon_portal_base if your curious. Most of the functionality of those maps was made using a logic_measure_movement to attach mapping objects (tractor beams, trigger_push, trigger_multiple made to set things on fire, etc.) to the players eyes.

id ask here, because this is also amazing, what did you do to make guns get into portal 2?
did you have to modify the editor or something?

That's alright. You could try making a fully functional Sans fight, straight from Undertale.

Ifthe original undertale controls don't work, you can use the mouse. Left click is select, right click is cancel.

I was considering doing that actually. I sort of left it when I realized just how complicated it would be to put all his animated textures together. Might try it again later, might not. I make no promises.

Whoa, I'm genuinely sorry, I wasn't aware it meant that much to you. I did notice your comment and did take a quick peek at the video, I just didn't have the time when I checked. I do very much appreciate that you took the time to make it, I just haven't had the opportunity to put much thought into my steam account, due to the fact that I don't have a usable computer. I'll watch it all the way through next chance I get, and maybe even add it to the map page if it stands up to my standards.

No. You can blame the notably vocal portion of the fanbase that have given Undertale its' undeserved reputation for that; I never thought Sans was that great of a character anyways, and the battle is down right depressing in my opinion.

I'm not particularly interested in doing a sequel to this right now, anyways. I'm hoping to do.some Zelda BOTW stuff when I get the chance...

I never claimed this was a portal 2 chamber. I made it as a tribute to how much I enjoyed the original game, and just to prove to myself that I had the skills to do so. I strive to use Hammers' powerful I/O system to make unique elements and experiences, and this map is essentially the pinicle of that hard work. Kind of a shame, too, I made these before I realized Undertale had so much backlash, so the maps I built like this get a lot of mindless dislikes.

@Pacguy64 I mean literally. This "chamber" you built is NOT Portal 2. Where's the puzzle? Where's the portals? Where's the button, cube, turrets, ANYTHING?!

I do admit that is pretty cool that you were able to make this, but you put it in a game that it doesn't belong. If you want the Toriel Battle, play the ACTUAL UNDERTALE GAME.

I mean no disrepect at all, but this specifically is NOT Portal.

You can select using the exact same controls from Undertale (z to choose an option, x to go back). You can also use fire blue portal (select) and fire orange portal (cancel/go back), if your using a controller.

Actually, I technically never programmed anything, it is just a standard map (although the logic behind it was definately helped along by my programming experience)
