I actually can't make it craftable in alchemy table due to different craftiong system :
In alchemy table (and enchanting table), you choose items and it shows you the effect of the created item.
In crafting tables(smithing, cookpot, ...) you choose the item you want to make ant it shows you what you need to do it...
Sorry, but if I find how to do it, I'll do it ;)
Naga  [author] 10 Aug, 2012 @ 10:10am
Yes...I didn't made it too expensive, but not cheap ;)
igor_madg 10 Aug, 2012 @ 10:02am
I also started finding the jarrinroot for selling at some alchemy shops, i took like one week in-game for them start appearing, price is between 790-850 gold, good work man

they're all like 1500+ i have 63 alchemy skill and some alchemy gear (necklace=15%, ring=17%, gauntlets=17%)

Thanks for tip but I think we all know the crimson ninroot quest if we just know crimson ninroot...
Did you just see the poison's health damage?
igor_madg 8 Aug, 2012 @ 10:01am
also for the alchemists like me, if you find a laboratory inside blackreach (it's in the same place you'll find lots of crimson nirnroot) you'll start a quest to collect 30 crimson nirnroots, after that you'll receive and active power that gives you 25% of chance to create 2 potions/poisons instead of only 1, it's called Sinderion's Serendipty, i used it to create 2 poisons out of nirnroot, with a lvl 60 alchemy perk that makes poisons last for 2 hits i got then 4 shoots with the nirnroot poison, used one to kill alduin and another to kill an ancient dragon, i have two shoots left, just a tip if you want to make a better use of this mod :P but i think all you already know about this

I wondered where that root had been hiding :D
Naga  [author] 6 Aug, 2012 @ 11:44pm
I'm french :D
igor_madg 6 Aug, 2012 @ 9:32pm
i've finished the DB quests, kileld Alduin (using a poison made out of nirnroot xD), and finished the College of Winterhold quests too (it provides you with a bunch of ingredients in the Arch Mage's quarter... and those ingredients spawn), i'll subscribe to it now, great mod dude, and your english is clearly better than mine, i'm brazilian and my english sucks
Naga  [author] 6 Aug, 2012 @ 2:32pm
Okay, in games files it's "red ninroot" so...
igor, It's already crimson ninroot, and I think that adding a daedra hearth to the recipe should make it unusual, because daedric weapons and armor are more attractive than just a jarrin root...
I'll probably look into make it craftable in alchemy table tomorrow, it's already 11.30pm in France, and I need to sleep ;)
Minnesotan Tiger 6 Aug, 2012 @ 2:27pm
Looking really good, and don't worry too much about your English, you're doing fine. As for the translation, it's "crimson nirnroot" over here.
igor_madg 6 Aug, 2012 @ 2:13pm
keep up with the mod dude, just add 1 daedra heart to this recipe and changes the nirnroot to crimsom nirnroot so ppl will have to go inside Blackreach to get some crimsom nirnroots, making it rare and challengeble to craft (tons of falmer/dwemer inside blackreach), I'll subscribe once the alchemy tabke crafting is added, favorited the mod page, good job

UPDATE : 1.1 :
- Bug fix : Now craftable in cookpot (looking for alchemy table)
- New recipe(8 salt pile, 3 canis root, 1 red ninroot( or crimson ninroot, don't know the english translation), and 5 nightshade), thanks to Aldas.
Naga  [author] 6 Aug, 2012 @ 12:47pm
I'll put it to alchemy table, but I don't know how to do it right now, so I set it in the "cookpot", you're right, I left to set it craftable...
Naga  [author] 6 Aug, 2012 @ 12:12pm
Hmm yes but there's always mods that only allows to buy it.
I tried tu make it by an other way...
I should change the recipe this evening or tomorrow, Good idea for ninroot, but I'm thinking in "crimson ninroot" (Don't know english translation), to respect aspect "It seems like it should be a rarer high-end ingredient, like Daedra hearts.".
Hooligonzo 4 Aug, 2012 @ 9:05pm
Why would you make the root? If Jarrin is a plant, why would any amount of salt turn a Canis root into a Jarrin root?

It seems like it should be a rarer high-end ingredient, like Daedra hearts. Just have that dude in Winterhold sell them.
Minnesotan Tiger 4 Aug, 2012 @ 8:58am
I'd say 3 canis root per jarin sounds appropriate. Maybe throw in some deathbell and nightshade, or even a nirnroot? All of them are infamous for damage health properties. Where are the crafted, anyway? Alchemy tables?
Naga  [author] 3 Aug, 2012 @ 11:05pm
Mmh yes I'll change the recipe but I don't know....More canis root? Other things?
Minnesotan Tiger 3 Aug, 2012 @ 10:46pm
Great idea; as long as it's not overly accessible, having more jarin roots for alchemy will spice up the game a bit more. I would suggest making the crafting recipe more costly on the side of canis root so it's a little more balanced. I assume it's quite expensive with merchants?
