Perhaps someone could submit a pull to the repo? Or just make a request to have the flare settable on the fly.

Not sure. Would depend on if you can alter flare profiles from in the camera code via the mod API somehow. Right now there's just a "this is the flare for the sun" definition that's used when the sun is around.

Is it possible to apply the flare only when looking through a camera?
