Have a small request
could you add the original red hair color (number 17) from original palette
Beaker  [author] 25 Feb, 2021 @ 10:34pm
Actually I fixed the issue with the black color in the armor palette a while ago. Hopefully it's not messed up again.

Also, while youre messing with it. Any chance you could add a true black? I had to stop using the armor version because it doesnt have one. Theyre all like.. blue. If not, its totally fine. Thank you for your time c:

Thank you! That sounds great, and ill definitely check out the xcom launcher in the meantime c;

It's been a while since I played and I see they put in a new launcher screen which prevents mods from launching in WOTC unless they are designated specifically for that. There is an "Xcom Launcher" mod that bypasses that and allows you load any mod you want which might be a short-term fix. I just tested it and it works fine. I'm pretty busy with other things right now but I'll see if I can find some time to release a WOTC version in the near future. Thanks for letting me know about it.

I would pay to get these fixed. im js.

This mod, along with the Eyes and Armor versions no longer work. They are greyed out in the mod selection part of the launcher. Nothing happens when i click to select it. I really love these mods and im wondering if you could look into whats going on there. They used to work fine for me in WOTC, but now that is not the case.

These colors are perfect! Thank you!

I just hopped in the character creator and both seemed be working fine. You will see the yellow warning triangle in the mod selection screen but they will still work if you select them.

This one and Calmer Colors - Eyes are not compatible with WOTC.
Beaker  [author] 9 Nov, 2018 @ 9:12pm
Two additional redhead colors were added.

I'm torn between using this mod or the "more hair colors" mod. A majority of the time I want calm, normal hair colors on recruited rookies, but every once in a while I want the option to give a character blue or green dyed hair.

Great stuff. I always thought the hair colours were way too bright as well. Thanks.

you don't have to say annoying you know its kinda rude
Beaker  [author] 13 Sep, 2017 @ 5:08pm
Good idea.
hemajoshi 13 Sep, 2017 @ 5:34am
I would put a WOTC prefix just in case so you don't get annoying people asking if it's updated
Beaker  [author] 2 Sep, 2017 @ 8:12pm
Just did some testing and it looks like this mod is compatible with WotC. You can just ignore the yellow exclamation icon and enable it in your mods screen.

I use this mod and I don't want to add thousands of colors since I'm fine with a few selection of good ones and this mod provides those. But I think it lacks one decent "red hairs" tint.
There is one that's too dark and violet (but still useful in rare cases) and others are simple brown hairs, at the moment is impossible to create a woman with red hairs even if "calmer", I suggest you to implement that or you'll force the users to search for other mods because they're completely unable to create red hairs girls/guys with this one.

Red hairs naturally exist in the real world, it seems like you think it's a comics thing^^ or artificial like green ones, but it's not.

I was afraid that's the case but thanks for the confirmation.
Beaker  [author] 27 Feb, 2017 @ 4:58pm
Even the various hair styles take the colors differently. The problem is the texture that goes with the hair/beard model. Someone would have to standardize each model which wouldn't be an easy task.
Solvem Probler 26 Feb, 2017 @ 5:24am
Is there a way to adjust the beard colors so they align better with the hair colors? That always irked me.
Beaker  [author] 21 Feb, 2017 @ 6:25pm
Made a change to put the white hair color back in the vanilla position since I was told that the Psi Ops soldier uses that color slot for her/his transformation. Basically switched colors 25 and 26.
Rude$t 21 Feb, 2017 @ 2:20am
Oh! Thank you for these.
Beaker  [author] 20 Feb, 2017 @ 7:46pm
Phrozehn - Actually you might have been asking the same thing. Each of these is a separate mod that works together - Armor, Hair, Eyes. You can subscribe to one or more depending on your taste.
Beaker  [author] 20 Feb, 2017 @ 7:42pm
Beagle - Yes, they all work together. I made them available as separate mods in case someone wanted to only use some of them.
PaulBr 20 Feb, 2017 @ 7:24pm
I think they're all supposed to go together Beagle, therefore, probably yes, then again, i didn't make this mod, so wait for Beaker.
Beagle 20 Feb, 2017 @ 6:58pm
Thanks for all three of these mods, the colours have bothered me for a while in this.

So all three of these are useable side by side, right?
Beaker  [author] 20 Feb, 2017 @ 6:35pm
If you mean being able to add a color mod to another one, then likely no. The game treats color palette lists like they would, say, a texture. You can replace it in the game with a different one but not append it.
Phrozehn 20 Feb, 2017 @ 5:39pm
So no chance of these great colour redoes being made stand-alone?
