Oh hey by any chance could you look into an error involving clicking on the Culture overview and having your game crash. I don't know if this is the direct source of the problem but, Jamaica seems to be the only Civ that has this problem.

I think this mod is allowing other civs to also build double Guilds: one as wonder, one as a building.

Neat! My thanks to you and your team. There's something unique about playing your homeland in a game of Civ, and for me peace-oriented civs are always more interesting.

A lot of mods tend to use military or cultural leaders rather than political leaders (for example, Carthage under Hannibal). Given that Jamaica's first Prime Minister was a white guy and this is the first Jamaica mod on the workshop, I felt like it would be more prudent to use Marcus Garvey: a more well-known figure who is still on Jamaica's coins, and who was the first person to be (posthumously) awarded the title of 'national hero' after Jamaica's independence.

Really cool idea. Why did you choose Marcus Garvey though? I'm curious since he was never a Prime Minister/other leader of Jamaica. If you ever give other options for leaders, Nanny of the Maroons would be an amazing choice.

I play this civ for 30 min and i love it can you make a cuba or New Zealand mod for Yet not another earth map pack becuase this mod was so good and lovly to play as anyway please talk to me if your making more civs or the civs youve made becuase so good anyong thx for the great civ V mod!!

Jamaica has a coastal start bias, rather than a jungle one (mostly due to its dependence on sea trade routes). If it were possible to have multiple start biases, it'd have Jungle AND Coastal, but sadly that isn't possible.

Not sure if this is something that is intentional or not, but using few mods but the community patch, I'm noticing that this Civ seems to have a desert rather than Jungle affinity you'd expect. Possibly because of the More Luxuries Mod or JFD's Exploration mod.

Leading the world with love and music; I love it! Should change jungle and forest tiles to include some hemp graphics when Jamaicans move in.

Thanks for the quick reply, i don't know really. It must be a conflict with another custom civ. I haven't figured it out which but I will do a thorough check today.

Which other mods do you have activated? I tested the mod with just CulDiv and Jamaica active. Played as vanilla Morocco and CulDiv still worked properly (Morocco was still Islamic). It's most likely some other Civ causing the bug.

This is more likely to be an issue caused by other mods you're using; can you confirm using only Jamaica?

I've noticed one problem. When this is enabled with JFD Cultural Diversity v13, all civs starts with the colonial trait.

I can't say a Gatling Gun is exactly a late era UU; it's very much mid-game, and is perfectly reachable.
@Retro why would it not support either of those mods...

This guy was just discussed in my history class.

Cultural Guilds = Writer's Guild etc.

Also, just observation: I wish more mods had two UU where we could edit a file to choose which one we get. It seems most games I play rarely go past the atomic age and so late era UU are often barely used. For Jamaica, a version of the Privateer or Frigate might be more useful. Again, just an observation, not a criticsim.
