We need mod for Gordon's glasses overlay

and i thought mass effect andromeda went overboard with lense flairs lol this is just overkill with lense flares. ruins the game just dont even bother with it.

I can confirm that when glasses get dirty, light sources become worse to look at. Accurate mod.

I'm trying to find a solution on how to take out all the sprite based lens flares. I've been using GCFScape and I can't actually find any of the original versions of the files included in this Lens flare mod. I took all the included ones and remade them transparent, then dropped them into bms/custom and I was able to get rid of all the sprites that way, but there were still certain one that lingered. Anyone know where the original files would be located in the .vpk files?

you can get rid of light flickering by forcing MSAA! so it just looks phenomenal now!

even though this feature is supported natively by 1.5, I would still suggest to disable the native feature and enable this mod, as the lens flares from this mod looks much better.
they do make lights flicker more though.

even if its not cinematic its still a little immersive for this to happen if they get dirty

Thanks for making this, reminds me alot of Cinematic Mod's lens flares; which that mod never ceases to look bloody amazing.

It should, but the game itself has a dedicated lens flare effect now so this isn't so relevant

This is a really cool effect. Thanks! The only thing that slightly bothered me was that the effect on some corridor lights were flickering as I moved (despite a high FPS).

It looks cool, but is there any way to tone it down? Some of the lights stand out so much now, tone the whole lot down by about 50%, apart from the sun which looks epic. :-)
