Having an issue that when scrolling the camera inwards, the UI disappears and does not return. Anyone else having this problem, and if so, have you found a fix? I have tried reinstalling, deleting folders/files and redownloading and I have had no luck so far.

Does anyone know why when you've been playing for 1 or 2 hours, the game suddenly closes? It seems like a problem of running out of enough memory, but I haven't been able to find a solution.

Yo where is the current Complex dev build gone to? i saw an update scheduled for today. So i wanted to resub to avoid crashes. now its gone for good and nowhere to find in the Steam Workshop

Maan i was enjoying building ships and watching the fleet at work, crew ship sending out ppl to the production ships, trade ship moving about, forgot about the enemy once till they hyperspaced on me haha, still havent won a cpu match, enemy seems op. still trying!

I can't get past the second mission in the campaign. No matter what I do, repair, destroy the BIGGEST astroid in the beginning , I still don't get control of the mother ship. Any work around?

how do i do to play with my friend with the mod.... its doesn't work with internet and steam connection...

Holy wowsers, this was some of the most fun RTS gameplay I've ever had the pleasure of participating in. Truly, this is what Homeworld 2 should be. Best mod, hands down, completely different to the Evo version for remastered, which has it's own perks.
If you want loads of depth, silly numbers of ships to choose from, and spectacular mega battles - choose this mod. 10/10.
For those having launch problems - in the launcher under 'command line arguments', paste this in; -w 1920 -h 1080 -hardwarecursor -nopbuffer

Can i really use this mod to play with my friends at steam?I have clicked that connect at steam but not use, the tcp/ip also cant connect.

Is there no way to retire subsystems and guns anymore? It use to be when I had a battlecrusier or vortex upgrade i could click on the gun retire it and build my upgrade. The retire button is not highlighted anymore is there a keybinding for it? I have not played in a while...thanks

used to play complex for years, but Evo. Please.. I will rather play 9.1. There are so many variations, why there isnt simply a 9.1 version for remastered? If there is a will, there is a way.

This mod crashes out now - it runs in the background / even after you cancel it out of processes - steam doesn't recognize it's closed...

I love this version much more than evo... evo is quite a bit frustrating. Anyway I REALLY LOVE COMPLEX. REALLY APPRECIATE FOR DEVS

Anyone know if there is a way to port this Complex 9.1 over to Homeworld Remastered?? Evo doesn't have half of what this version does and there haven't been any updates for months. I love 9.1 but the classic game engine just can't handle it. End-game slows to 5-10 fps regardless of what your PC specs are. Changing graphics settings does nothing. Any pointers or performance fixes appreciated.

Is it still playble via steam servers ?

To anyone still having the crashing on start up issue type (-nopbuffer ) and add (-w 1920 -h 1080) (or any resolution you want to use) at the HWRM launcher command line. it's the bar at the bottom of the launchers mod page and that should let the mod work fine.

@Breadbox Complex Evo (for Remastered) is still in development. It is an ambitious project compared to Complex 9.1 and won't be finished soon. What on earth happens? Fighters now comes in 1,I cannot build anything before screwing around and it waste my fucking time with bullshit, my mind is in shambles at what happened.

Idk why but complex for remastered seems to have lost everything i loved about this complex. dam shame, want my starbases back

Wish Complex 13 would keep those interesting vessels. (Crew barracks, research station and so on.)
Compare to the retrofit-capable destroyer in Complex 13, I'd rather have HGN destroyers with fixed turrets from this version.

Browsing through the Workshop for a good Homeworld 2 mod? Download and install this one. Every ship, station, platform, game mechanic and UI elements of this mod are very well designed, and fit in as if they were part of an enormous expansion from Relic Entertainment themselves. Go on and try it, it even made ModDB's Hall of Fame [www.modhof.com] (scroll to 2004). Complex 9.1 (released in 2013) is free and also the final version for HW2 Classic. Personally, I prefer the classic (9.1) over the remastered (11) in its current stage. They play quite differently so make sure to try the two. Complex 11 is the current newest publicly available release version for HW2 Remastered, also free . Beghins and his team are back, working on newer versions with more ships, races and complex mechanics. I’m really upset about not being able to play homeworld from stream. Every time I launch the program it crashes. It all started when my whole system crashed and I had to upgrade most of it. New MTI motherboard, ATI graphics card with 8Gs, more memory (32gs) and installed windows 10. All the other steam programs work but not the one I really want to play. I even installed the missing driver for ATI cards. I then remembered a program called SHWL ver 1.70 made by Silentspy. I’m able to launch homeworld classic and remastered using this program, even the mods in any resolution. I’ve used most of the tips that have been mentioned on/in the workshop but no one has mention the program I use to presently launch homeworld, those tips haven’t work out. I place the mods in the data folder in each for RM and Clasic2. Don’t play classic much. If steam ever gets its act together I’ll go back to using their launcher. Hope this helps some of you.

complex 7 was superb and one of the best mods , indeed games, ive played. complex has gone downhill since then. also, there is something unsettling and likely in a perhpas legal grey area about them now making money off the homeworld game. make a mod as you want to make a good game, not to charge people for a game others made. RIP complex, one of the best mods, ever.

Crashes on startup. Likely some update to remastered broke it. Pity, cant get it directly from Beghins without donating anymore. RIP Complex 9, you were the best.

For everyone with the crashing problem, I use the command -nopbuffer on start up. It works for me as I have the same problem when I forget to put the command in. Give it a couple of tries though, sometimes it crashes the first time but runs on the second. I hope this comment was helpful.

older homeworld mods don't tend to work with windows 10 anymore, i don't know any fixes.

How do you salvage asteroids(the big black ones)? I remember in the earlier versions you could fire a miner missile from construction ships but I can't find that option anymore...
