It sounds awesome, not to mention impressive! This mod already has a huge fanbase, I can't imagine how awesome it would be to incorporate all the different time/light settings as a standard cycling mechanic!

That should be possible, but will require some scripting. It will need to retrieve the moment of turn progression and push it ahead a set time.
Probably not too hard to do when checking the current code of the mod and adapting it for that.

this mod was made a long time ago, but it looks awesome, is there any chance the day/night cycle progress could be linked to each turn? so for example every turn pushes the day cycle to the next phase?

Seems like a great mod but why would we want to play in eternal nighttime because we all stayed up late clicking "one more turn"? :)

Faster checking will not make it change faster, since it's still 24 hours a day.

To me it seems you actually want the default use in the settings of the game. That one goes by pretty fast.

I'm looking for a Mod that actually SPEEDS UP the time of day. ¿Is there a way to do so, or to speed computer time of day so this Mod checking will be faster?

Sure. It's just local. The mod has no MP interaction whatsoever.

No, this mod is not included in save games and can be loaded into new and existing games.

even disableing animated time of day doesn't make this mod get to work for me. mods when subscribed are enabled by default, am i correct?

No need to wait for your next game. It works with saved game and can be pluged in/out as many times as you want.

Did you noticed that the sun rises to the south and sets to the north ?
Weird indeed :-D
At worst, if it rose to the west and set to the east... One could say he lives on a planet that turns backwards. But light toward poles in the morning and in the evening does not work from a climate point of view.
Any way to change this ?

The problem really was that. This option has indeed been enabled. I did not think that it affects the modification work. I love this mod, Thanks ))

Sounds like you have the day of time function from the game settings turned on.

I changed the frequency with with it checks and changes, to make it less resource intensive. It also means there is a slight delay when first loading your save game. It also means you can see the in-game option taking over and then getting overriden again.

For some reason, began to "jump" the sunlight. That darker, then suddenly becomes lighter, and then darker again. This happens about once every 3 turns.

Seems like some sort of other compability issue, which was fixed by disabling this mod. Might be the UI stuff, there is like 20 of those. Sry

@HetNeSS: nope, just played through a game. Meeting Civ's goes fine.
Are you sure it wasn't a city state?
Otherwise, what other mods are you running? Most notably UI mods, both small and large, are most likely broken after this update, since there are again a ton of UI changes.

When you see that, make sure you have turned off the animated time of day option. Otherwise they are going to interfere.

It constantly causes my game to alter tint. Too jarring. Can't use until it's fixed. Not a compatibilty issue, have tried this vanilla.

Just updated! It now works again with GS and previous versions.
It's also improved, as in, lighter for your system/game.
