Report a translation problem
The main reason I'd want a x1,5 science/culture mod is that I've usually cleaned out the tech tree by turn 300-350. That's too fast in a 500 turn game. This mod right here does that in the Ancient and Cliassical era, it stops doing that once you reach the Buttress tech. (probably because that's where the first big shift from a patch in the tech tree happens). This mod certainly does slow down the ancient and classical eras a bit.

Thoughts/ experience on this issue?
I have tested alot of mods after the expansion, and Take your time, is one of the mods that simply works with everything.
I use the 2x or 3x in my games. On Marathon. It makes the game playable every time. Each tech or civic matters since you dont get new every 10 turns :p. And you can have complete wars in one era, without waiting for the best tech before you attack something!
