Cool vid and nice tricks, only suggestion is that u slow it down just a smidge so ppl can build along, ik that would make it a 20 min. vid but that would have benn an ok thing

@Brainake, no mods were used to build it, therefore it is, I'm happy to answer questions if you want to know how certain bits were built. Till then, refer to this video for some of the techniques used.

@Eric | Ahapod, they aren't mods tho, so it is vanilla, no mods were used to build it, again if you don't want to use skinpacks thats okay, its designed to look fine without them.

@Eric | Ahapod, five mods? 6 skinpacks if thats what you mean, not mods at all, if you don't like the packs, don't use em, looks fine without them ;)

Always hit in close range...sadly
Brooka  [author] 28 Feb, 2017 @ 2:33am
@Lyf, thanks!! Did you manage to hit it?

@Ross Plavsic, I believe at around 40, it provides the most acceleration, at near flat angle acceleration is lower, but top speed is higher, I think that is due to the lower drag effect. I know at near flat angle it maintains a lot of speed when performing manoeuvres, but can't recover speed as easily as lower angle pitch can. So yeah, the range of angles covered is a balancing act, high acceleration and pulling power, or higher straight line speed.

I really like how you used the steering hinges to do the pitching, so you can set maximum and minimum angles. But I played around with it and it doesn't seem like the maximum angle gives the most thrust.
Specifically, I rotated the plane 180 degrees of its original position, so I could take off in the big sandbox, and tried to fly back around to the archer statues. It seemed easier to make the tough angle if I didn't pitch the props all the way. So, additional fine tuning might be helpful.
