To be honest, I don't remember, but I think it doesn't work with ingots.

I made this mod in 2012 - my pc has crashed, and I no longer have the workshop installed (nor the source of my own mod xD)... I just remember it was very light, most essentially concerning one script (the one for transmutation), and as the spell is only transmuting ore, so shall this mod.

I wanted not alter the gameplay / balance of the game. Just modify the spell so it allow transmute iron to silver more easily.

This is great because I use transmutation all the time, just because I'm amazed to see a practical spell in skyrim (spell system was dumbed too far down in my opinion) This makes things so much easier.

This fixes the biggest issue i have with transmute since i started playing the game years ago!!! +10 thumbs up!! I was really hating casting transmute once, opening inventory, dropping silver, close inventory, repeat. So much better!!

Nevermind, solved my own problem. This seems to need to be above "Invested Magic" or else it won't change anything.

Doesn't seem to be working (silver -> gold is still higher priority). Any tips on load order?

There is a different mod that does a bunch in one cast. i like this one better because it gets more points into allteration.

Now, just a word concerning transmute all your iron ore into silver in one cast. This is technically easy, and I've done it for personal use. Then, as I made a public mod, I just wish it didn't ruin the gameplay - but just change a spell which was not (according to me) totally accurate. Let's call it minor correction.

If what you whish is convert a lot of ore in a single cast, I can take some time to find the right files. This should be another mod though, cause it affect the game a little more as making money becomes very quick... And be sure you really need it, cause I'm very lazy ^^

I think I see the problem. I think I misinterpreted your explanation of the mod; I was under the impression that you could transmute all of your iron into silver with one cast of the spell, and with a second cast transmute all silver into gold. (And don't I feel silly now ^_^; ) My mistake. Sorry.

That's what it is meant for - convert one iron into one silver - as long as you still have iron. In case you don't have anymore, it should convert silver into gold. Still, the basic principle of spell isn't affected: on ore at a time (if this is what's your problem is about).

It doesn't seem to be working for me. The transmute spell still only converts one iron ore into one silver ore. :(

DEFINITELY SUBSCRIBED works well with my melt-down mod (sorry for the plug but if you got hearthfire or transmute you need more ore)... Been hunting for this for a while!

No, this does not relate to this mod.
To be clear, this mod does not affect mining at all.
You will have this problem - and others - with or without my mod.
It is not responsible for those problems, nor it is supposed to correct them.
It does only what it is meant to.

It has one bug though. After I mined ore vein then let the time pass until that ore vein is respawned againg, I can't mine it again.

works great; one issue when you simultaneously cast it in both hands it uses the mana for both castings but still only casts the spell once. Other then that it works fine.
